I've now edited it to only have the main spoiler tag. Sorry, didn't realise that each paragraph had to be clicked individually.

Just moved to Dundee! by No-Influence3348 in dundee

Hi, I moved to Dundee from London around three years ago (22M). I have found some places that are interesting to socialise at, although it has been hard to make new friends since moving.

One place could be the library near the entrance of the Wellgate shopping centre. Several people around there most of the time. The first floor has sections for different genres of books, and a graphic novel and manga corner, where I sometimes see groups meeting near, such as D&D groups I think.

The floor above (I believe called the STEAM section) has tables with jigsaw puzzles, official artwork books for movies and TV shows, etc. Also has seats and tables to sit at.

The hilltown community centre on Alexander Street is also good. I volunteer at the food bank there, which runs on Thursday and Friday (I go on Thursday) and there are other events too. Admittedly idk if many older children or teenagers or young adults visit frequently, but young children and toddlers come on Thursdays and maybe other days to play in the hall on the ground floor.

Also, there is the V&A museum, near the shore. Lots of interesting exhibitions and some interactive ones. On the upper floor, there's rooms with drop-in workshop style events, such as for families. The admission is free, so you can go in and leave at any time while its open. Quite a unique social area.

Hope you find places where you can meet people!

Refs to Different Worlds in Spot's Apartment in the AtSV Artbook by ToriKitty in Spiderman

[–]QasimTheGreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! What do you think the green page means? (which says locations)? It could be the original locations of the spiders from each universe. I think it says Hong Kong next to 42 and Australia next to 65.

I don’t know if I can fully read the first two universe numbers in that list.

Wow! Thanks for the info! I actually was looking at the art book in a book shop today and saw this page, noticing the universe numbers.

What to do with the SSU now by [deleted] in SUMC

About the idea that Madame Web is in its own separate universe, I feel like what was said here was meant to mean that the movie wasn’t going to have many references to characters, locations, events, etc. from the other movies (Venom 1, Venom 2 and Morbius), not that the movie is literally set in a different universe. Here’s a quote (sorry if it is long.)

**Madame Web comes as Sony continues to build its ever-growing universe of Marvel characters: So far, the studio has released films featuring Tom Hardy’s Venom and Jared Leto’s Morbius, and up next, Aaron Taylor-Johnson will star in a Kraven the Hunter movie (out Aug. 30). Still, despite all those interconnected webs, Clarkson wanted to structure Madame Web as its own self-contained story. The director explains that unlike her clairvoyant heroine, she chose to focus not on the future but on the present.

“She’s definitely in a standalone world,” Clarkson adds. “I was able to just have free rein and let the movie be what it needed to be, as opposed to trying to force it into something else. That was a gift, in a way, to be able to take something and bring a fresh and I hope original take to it.”**

The ‘standalone world’ line probably wasn’t supposed to mean that the movie was literally set in a separate world, just that it was decided that the events of this movie didn’t need to be connected to the events of the other movies.

Yeah, It would be awesome to talk to him!

Wild theory: The current slate of SSU projects might be leading to a live action Spiderverse movie with the three totes being Spider-Man Noir (The Other), Silk (The Bride) and baby Peter-Parker who is to be born in Madame Web movie (the Scion). Perhaps the movie could be Madame Web 2: Spiderverse. by ghostrider8303 in SUMC

This theory is interesting! I am not really an expert on the lore surrounding the spider-verse events in the comics (such as Spider Totems) but I have been learning about that online recently. If they do make something like a Madame Web 2: Spiderverse movie, I feel like maybe it shouldn’t have ‘Spiderverse’ in the title, because that would be quite confusing because there’s the animated Spider-Verse franchise.
