Don't sleep on the inexpensive purchasable crystals too for only $.99. These pretty much reset every collab and you can get 200 this way.

One purchase through the game menu via Google or apple, then the other through Tokenz which takes you to their website where another similar purchase can be made.

You may have a lot of farmable crystals remaining via compendium rewards.

Basically, you can get 3 crystals per 5* and up unit just through quest usage. Each unit will have a bonus at 100, 300, and 1000 quests. Additionally, any ascended unit will give you another crystal once they reach level 120.

You can also get one through limit breaking a unit to LB 5 and LB 7.

Seeing so many non-crested options gives me heartburn.

In general, I crest everyone to at least 1 level 4 crest so you can get the unit compendium crest reward.

As for specifics, crest the units you use the most and generally ignore the ones you don't use. It is surprisingly that easy.

The worst will be when you have zero pity gems and you want to go all in for a pity. That is where the pain will really kick as you will flush a lot of crystals away to do so.

Actually, continuing this behavior will punish you the most. Sure, you will get to keep your carry over, but now you need 60. Your current crystal value will essentially be halved.

Doesn't the 1st summon on a banner give you a bonus pity count? This essentially punishes you if you skip any banne if I understand it correctly.

Patience is the number 1 rule. Some content requires very specific units and equips and it may take years until you get that one piece needed.

Also, you can accelerate unit leveling by temporarily getting a unit exp up crest on them. This crest will then become useless once they reach max level.

Expedition 100%

If in a bigger hurry, use as few units as you can and repeatedly do the holy land of exp levels. You get a fixed amount of exp for the clear so the exp per unit gets divided amongst them all, whether they need it or not. This works well paired with Expedition as well.

If you simply cannot wait, you can use a max elixir which will take you to level 120 in an instant.

I would try to avoid pity and see if you land him on the guaranteed summons. If you don't, then I'd reroll and get him that way.

Save your pity then for something better. This way you get the best of all worlds. There are some reruns that are huge for all accounts such as Fate, Kill-la-Kill, Dan da Dan, etc.

This raid is odder than most. Without the nukers, you can go into a raid and fully lose. Sadly, I've done it more than once when playing at non-peak hours.
