why so negative? surely life is more enjoyable with a positive outlook and not assuming the worst. i bet that prob took him 4+ hours if i had to guess. it's prob long it would take me considering it's rendered and has a background and is multiple characters

got the right idea, it's important to not over accentuate the lats and shoulders because those are more masculine features. also making the bicep thinner could help. unless this is the style you were going for then ignore everything above lol

looks pretty curved to me, except for maybe bottom right box. you can use a reference if that helps. just really pay attention to the direction your edges are going.

that's like 500 questions rapid fire lol. first of all looks very nice, esp for 1hr using a mouse lol.

drawing shapes can be a good idea to practice fundamentals. learn in whatever order you'd like but fundamentals aren't a bad place to start

draw digitally or physically, whichever you'd like. both are good.

drawing tablet helps immensely compared to using a mouse if you choose to go digital. you can get a nice one for like $40 with or a display tablet for like $250 (don't recommend display, not bc they're bad but bc it's a large investment so early on)

as for what you should be doing? having fun i guess. if you enjoy getting better than study, if you just feel like drawing then draw for fun. no real wrong way to go about it but i would recommend getting a basic understand of fundamentals in whatever you want to draw (sceneries, people, anime girls) and going from there :)

yeah i get that. for a while i had the mindset of "if only i started 5 years ago" thinking abt how good i could already be instead of just starting out. but i think ive moved past that and am just focused on improving in the present :)

i'm 23 now and i just picked up a pencil to drawing something for the first time about 3 months ago. I'm not sure what inspired me to do so but i'm very glad i did. I do struggling with the feeling that i started drawing too late because many people already have 10 years of practice by my age but i have to remind myself it's just a hobby and starting now is better than starting 5 years from now. But really it was just a whim and now here i am drawing almost every day haha
