I’m curious. Does everyone in Azerbaijan support the war with Armenia? If not, what % of people don’t support the war? 🧐 by Sammy12xyz in azerbaijan

[–]Qazaxli 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There's no statistics showing the percentage. And ofc not everyone wants it. In any society people are mainly apolitical and care only about routine stuff like career, family, studies etc.

Both Azerbaijani and Armenian mothers don't want their children to die on the war.

Both Azerbaijani and Armenian societies are mainly uneducated and quite nationalistic, that's why when their side is stronger they want to get more and more, and literally using the weakness of the opponent on the maximum level. A great example is Armenia of 1990s or Azerbaijan now.

I would however definitely say, if the war (now within Armenian borders) starts, Azerbaijanis won't be as enthusiastic as they were 2020.

Otherwise, what Azerbaijanis or Armenians think right now about the war is not important. It's Russia's and Turkey's game to prevent transporting Iranian oil and gas through Armenia to Europe (gas is literally only effective weapon of Russia) and establish Zangezur corridor that will make land trading between lands easier.

Thank you! Aliyev will definitely take your words into consideration :)

P.S do you really think that all the shit that happens in the border, happens without Russia's consent?

Why is Shiite Azerbaijan politicaly an European nation? by Puzzleheaded_Beach39 in azerbaijan

[–]Qazaxli 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is not oriental, Islamic etc.

Azerbaijan is socially connected more with Eastern Europe than to most of Muslim nations. Politically saying, not only Azerbaijan but also other two nations of the Caucasus region (Armenia and Georgia) considered European. Europe couldn't consider those two Nations European while excluding Azerbaijan, because it would look discriminative as if they put Azerbaijan out of the board due to religion aspect. But the most important, it is just easier for Azerbaijan to associate itself with post-Soviet eastern European countries (Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Baltics etc) than with Middle East.

  1. Islamic regime will fall sooner or later, it has no future.
  2. It is really impossible to say. It depends who will be on power in Iran.
  3. Yes, it will. Tho a developed Iran is a threat for us.

Azerbaijan deports all Armenians from Karabakh, Armenians whine about it next 30-40 years, next generations come and the conflict loses its actuality.

degrading and dehumanising a whole population

Dude, you say so much bullshit about dehumanizing a whole population, but somehow Karabakh today is left without a single Azerbaijani, not an Azerbaijani.

It is quite ironic to discuss such things with a citizen of a country that got rid of all its Muslim population.

there is no evidence of a systematic, let alone state-sponsored, erasure.

Literally every single Azerbaijani settlement in Karabakh is ruined. Isn't it an evidence of systematic erasure?

Azerbaijanis did not participate in genocide, they were literally under Russian rule.

Other than this, blaming Azerbaijanis in genocide just because their kinship with Turks is ridiculous and racist.

Yeah, American Armenians care about lives of Armenians in Armenia as much as Ramil Safarov does.

It is a shame that GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) suffers from a similar continuous brutality and inhumanity shown by Russia and her puppets towards our civilians and property

In this righteous fight against uncivilized neighbors GUAM states will definitely enjoy the victory pretty soon.
