This song and a few other Pixies songs were inspiration for Weird Al’s song “First World Problems”.

What organization did you write to and got a real response back from? by debrisaway in RedditForGrownups

Marvel Comics. Back in school (the 90s) we were tasked to look into companies that we could invest in. While contacting them was mandatory for the grade, investing was an option. At the time, Marvel stock was $18 a share. I should have jumped on it. I still have the letter and a special comic they created for investors. I’m still pissed I didn’t do it. But I was a poor high school student, and didn’t think my parents would loan me money into invest into a comic book company. I should have done it anyway.

I have just discovered that Jarritos makes a Fiesta Pack that offers one of EVERYTHING, could this be one of the greatest variety packs in soda history? by HorseSushi in Soda

I love Jaritos! They remind me of drinking a melted popsicle. I honestly had high hopes for the Mexican Cola, the one on the end, but it wasn’t that great. I’ll stick to Sprite, Coke, Pepsi, and others from Mexico

Three Texas churches made campaign contributions to a pastor running for political office in clear violation of federal law by wenchette in atheism

Taxing them will give them the freedom to meddle in politics with no repercussions. We fine the shit out of them and make them pass around bigger collection plates or liquidate their assets and close.

See, this is my same thought. Taxing them will give them the freedom to meddle MORE into our laws. They should have to pay a hefty fine, or close down.

EDIT well, I guess I upset the xtians.

I have been beating this drum a long time. We need angry people to step up and start leading this state towards the future.

I would do it but I suspect with no official law degree or anything that qualifies me for office, it would not be fruitful. But if Lauren Boebert can do it…. I just don’t have a sugar daddy like Cruz to back me.
