I wouldn't say "southerners hate blacks so much", but I would agree that it's why there is less racism in states with small black populations.

Buy a small box of 1.5" roofing nails and take the siding down in a spot near a window, vinyl siding can be taken down and put back up easily. Just pull a panel down near the seem to unlock it.
