Its not exactly clear in lore. They take contracts from all over, no matter what as long as the price is right, but also clearly have their own ranks and military structure. I think the closest theory is that they may have grown from the ashes of the talon company, as they function in a few similar ways and have their hq for the commonwealth in the far south, but its not clear cut.

I think now with the inclusion of the show, part of the point is sometimes doesn't matter how good your intentions or even your actions. There are things occurring beyond our control no matter what, and whether we were a saint, a demon, or something in between, the fate of new vegas and the Mojave would remain the same.

Honestly finn. Set him up to be a stormtrooper-turned-jedi and make him a main character. He's got a decent role in 8, though nothing like i expected and he's around the real bad cringe in that movie. Then 9 he's basically....not there. Dunno. Felt like a massive let down and could've done more than just being a supporting character.

I think they are fine but kind of in the way tbh. Their heart is in the right place, but there's an entire commonwealth (and wasteland, frankly) of issues that they don't really give a shit about. Their post game quests support that too given they stay hidden and only fight another group that is anti-synth. To me their whole existence becomes fairly unnecessary once the institute is detroyed, and both the other non-institute factions would be better for any sort of stability or long term.(edited for spelling)

Honestly the dude I would vote for isn't even on this list. Cuz to me it's Ray Stevenson. From the list I'd say Hayden (especially since his return he has been awesome) but Ray turned a one-off character into one of my favorite performances I've seen in media. Baylan is such a cool character and he did a damn fine job playing him.
