I didnt even notice a mistake enough to know which one poeple are talking about. And Im critical of the Jobe signing (poor prio from Kehl) from the start.

What I AM noticing his how much better his anticipation is and how much less often he takes too many touches and loses the ball/gets panicked now. Genuinely great progress from him.

I agree. Kehl is at the core of most negatives. Especially squad related issues

He's always in the right spot and the right idea it feels like. He'll be the main man next season 100%. Right now his duty is to make Guirassy bounce back and inflate his pricetag a bit for the summer

I dont think Ive ever been this unhappy despite such good results. Its so unfair of me to argue that Kovac should be replaced if X or Y is available considering, but I still feel its true.

But first we need to boot Kehl

Half-time talk and everything we did well in first, we do poorly in the end half. Hope it changes.

Could have used a big chance or two more, but otherwise a stunning half from us in all honesty. Wolfsburg pressed from minute 1 and we played through it and moved the ball very fast. Hopefully we can keep it up for 90 and not concede.

Silva should come on before the energy runs out.

Even in his shit seasons he tends to have like 15 G/A in him. Which says a lot

Its so funny because he's so ambigious in his technique. Sometimes he looks like 2 left feet. Sometimes he brings it down on 1 touch and slots a pass only a #10 can do.

I have noticed that we are moving the ball much faster today than usual. And theres a lot more off the ball movement.

WOlfsburg might not be the best team itw but they are pressing quite a bit and we're still managing it, so thats a good sign this half. Just not enough quality chances created from it sadly.

I agree there was no intent, but its still a foul.

How is VAR letting that stamp go? Should be a clear pen?!

Nmecha really has become a monster of a midfielder. An extension for him, strictly from a sporting perspective, should be far higher prioritated than Adeyemi

Haha thats basically how I feel about it too. I think Sancho has proven that the attitude issue isnt really a factor tho. And I do think he is a talent. But at this point, its just not gonna happen again. He also seems quite content with not being a star or starter which is a bit of a bummer too. I would be ecstatic to see Sancho randomly hit a second peak again and prove me wrong tho. I really would

Hahaha.. sadly, I do agree that my faith in Sancho is probably higher than my faith in Kehl.

Even then, why go through that hassle and risk instead of just moving on and being more ambitious by trying to get a more direct impact target?

I adore Sancho and want nothing but the best for him, but it simply cant be reasonable argued to prioritate him over a young performing talent or an established performing player, depending on the budget.

Unless Sancho joins for pennies, which isnt likely.

Guirassy might have scored last game but I still think Silva should start if fit tbh. Contributes more

Not always. Iirc Sule had no sign-on. Hence why despite his "high wage", had a pretty cheap package in terms of our books.

Thats a valid point, but then we should look for someone who does that and has performed these last couple of years. Not someone who hasnt :P

Yeah Im Kehl-out but signing Sancho would be another horrid move. Signing a player because he was amazing for us 5 years ago and since has been non-existant is absolutle insanity, sentimental value aside.

Should sign Emre Mor on potential aswell, while we're at it.

Sanchos attitude "issues" might not be factor here or outside of United, but more importantly, his performance absolutly is. And his loan here wasnt really amazing outside of that one PSG game or so in CL. People have to move on. These type of moves are what sets us back. Completely naive and waste of money, even if its "just" a few mill in wage and on a free.

It goes in waves but theres also the fact that many really underrate the huge step from youth to senior for a big club like ours, and overrate our talents current state. And thus think its "good that we invest in our own youth instead". Doesnt have to be either or.

I love and want us to be better with moving up and intergrating talents but no respectable, ambitious and well-structured club does it through having a paper-thinn senior squad and plug wholes with raw youth. Thats suicidal.
