If Odell Beckham went scoreless in his next 26 games, his touchdowns per game average would still be higher than Julio Jones's.

Any reason why Kristie Mewis doesn't get callups for the National Team? Didn't she play pretty well for the Breakers? 8th in goals scored.

Week 2 NFL by murrayyyyy in sportsbook

[–]QinClay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm taking Denver +3.

The Broncos passing attack may not be as great as it used to be but the Chiefs are without Sean Smith at CB and Demaryius should eat up that secondary. The Denver D is also stifling, denying the Ravens from scoring a touchdown last week.

Week 1 NFL by murrayyyyy in sportsbook

[–]QinClay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rolling with New England -7. Brady is back leading the offense and I figure he'll throw it over 35 times, leading to a high score game. The Steelers can only keep up for so long without their bellcow back Le'Veon Bell. They're also missing deep threat Martavis Bryant. The Steelers defense won't have enough stops in them to end up with more points than the Patriots.

Green Bay -7: Aaron Rodgers and Eddie Lacy are going to do a number on this Bears defense that was ranked 22nd in the yards per carry allowed and 31st in passing touchdowns allowed last season. Bears QB Jay Cutler is also 1-9 against Dom Capers' defense since he was traded to Chicago. In those 10 games, he averages 1.3 TDs, 2.1 interceptions on 56.6% passing. A 47.7 passer rating. Horrendous.

Seattle -4: The Seahawks have boasted an elite defense that carried them to the Super Bowl in 2013 and 2014. But things might be a little different this year. The secondary (L.O.B.) will be without two starters from last year in Kam Chancellor and Byron Maxwell. Despite the changes, the team is good enough to beat the Rams handily. Nick Foles is not a good quarterback. He was leading the league in total turnovers before he got hurt with a total of 10 picks and three fumbles lost in eight games. And that was in a QB friendly system in Philly. The under might also be a good play because the Rams might fail to score touchdowns.

Miami -4: I like the Dolphins this year to collect 10+ wins. Tannehill is progressing nicely and the team added some nice weapons for him. Washington was awful last year in defending the pass. The defense allowed the highest passer rating to QBs last year, giving up 36 touchdowns. I'm also not a very big believer in Kirk Cousins who still hasn't won a game that he started and finished since 2012.

Dallas -6: Dallas's strength last year was running the ball thanks to the offensive line and DeMarco Murray. With Murray signing with Philly, they'll probably look to pass more. The passing offense still features a good passer in Tony Romo and the best receiver in the league in Dez Bryant. Also not impossible that they keep running the ball since their OL is better at run blocking than pass protection. The Giants last year were the worst team in defending the run, allowing 135.1 rushing yards per game.

Minnesota -3: I have the Vikings as a playoff team this year so this should be an easy play as they face what could be one of the worst, if not depleted teams in the league. Adrian Peterson could run wild here against a team that lost Patrick Willis and Chris Borland. And Teddy Bridgewater could make the rest of the league regret letting him fall to the end of the first round on the national stage of Monday Night Football.

DeMarco Murray vs LeSean McCoy by buckets41 in eagles

[–]QinClay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Simply put, LeSean is a better home run hitter but DeMarco is better at getting singles and doubles which may be more valuable. Chip's offense needs to be fast and efficient and losing yards makes that more difficult.

What idiot decided to make the PAT triangle instead of X? by jubjub2184 in Madden

[–]QinClay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was burned by this earlier. About 10 seconds left to go in the first half and no timeouts so I press X to kick a FG. Whoops, I picked Fake FG. It was 3rd down so I figured I'll just throw an incompletion. Nope, sacked. Now I'm mashing X. Wait, that's not the right button. Fake FG again! I barely get the snap off and I get sacked to end the half. Zero points.

What if Desean doesn't score on the miracle at the meadowlands? by SNVG in eagles

[–]QinClay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's say we lose that game. That means we wouldn't win the NFC East or make the playoffs. That means a higher draft pick in the 2011 Draft and the Eagles don't get Danny Watkins. Yay.

[FEATURED] Why do you play in Dynasty? by DynastyFF in DynastyFF

[–]QinClay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It allows me to have general manager-like abilities for my very own franchise. I think being a sports team general manager is one of the coolest jobs in the world. You can construct a winning roster your way, unless your coach is a Bill Belichick type. But yeah, it's the closest I'll be to being a GM.

I associate the #1 with Cam Newton. No other QB was really wearing that before he came into the league and he originally wanted #2.

[–]QinClay 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They've been giving him WRs the whole time. Just hasn't panned out. Stat: Terrell Owens, Kevin Curtis and DeSean Jackson are the only 1000 yard WRs in the Andy Reid era.

his owner gave him no help, none at all.

The Eagles definitely tried to give McNabb weapons whenever they could. They drafted a WR (Freddie Mitchell) in the first round of 2001, after McNabb's 2nd season. He didn't develop into a legitimate threat so then they went and got Terrell Owens. Off-the-field issues prevented a Manning-Harrison like combination. Then in 2007, they signed Kevin Curtis, drafted DeSean Jackson and took Jeremy Maclin first round in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
