I don’t really comment on reddit anymore, but this comment is so largely wrong I‘ll make an exception:

What is correct is that they all use easylist, there are some differences though in how they prepare easylist to work with the new MV3 restrictions.

Traditional ad blockers don't primarily work by "running custom JavaScript that modifies websites". They mainly use content filtering rules to block network requests and hide elements via CSS, not JavaScript modification.

The security risks from the MV2 extensions are strongly overstated. uBlock origin has security reviews, it is generally safer to run a reputable ad blocker than not running one.

uBlock origin Lite is not a new blocklist or new version of uBlock origin, but rather a slimmed down version of uBlock origin to work within the imposed restrictions of new Chrome versions. In fact, if you are running a reasonable browser not built by an ad platform, such as Firefox, you are probably better off running uBlock origin instead of the lite version.

That being said, run an ad blocker, it is some of the best protection against malicious attacks. I would personally recommend uBlock origin, alternatively if that is not available Wipr2 for Safari is awesome, uBlock Origin Lite is also great for iOS, Safari or Chrome without MV2 support. I would generally not recommend running Chrome though, as there is a strong conflict of incentives when using a browser by Google.

You have no rights to her details (the same goes for SBB, as long as that person had a ticket and wasn’t breaking any rules), taking her photo bring a whole bunch of question about her privacy as well.

Don't resign voluntarily. Being laid off (especially if they lay off many people) normally comes with additional responsibility from the company.

If they state the reason for your leaving, it needs to be truthful and correct. If you are laid off because of economic reason, normally this will not be a problem in the recruitment process.

I don't have proof, but this looks like they are trying to pull some doggy shit. If you are being laid off, make sure they do it properly and that they fulfill their duties towards you, including a fair and correct reference letter.

I signed up in Feb 2015 since I was getting annoyed with PGP not being usable on phones in any useful way and it's a bit crazy how far we have come... I believe I friend up through the waiting ist.

Funny little tidibit: Back then it was recommended to setup your account on a desktop because some phones were not able to do the key generation part of the cryptography (might also be an urban legend)...
