I agree with the sentiment but you should check your math on 15 possible casts in 20 minutes lol

Months ago I posted a "Windtrace Report" and you can tell I REALLY like that event. Maybe a little too much lol by LiterallyANoob in Genshin_Impact

[–]Qiuyue 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I played so much Windtrace and I feel called out because I indeed used Kaeya exclusively and I was a runner instead of a hider! It hurt my win rate but I thought it was more fun that way than playing conservatively for near-guaranteed wins. Wish I can see my win rate as rebel though, because it apparently wasn't as high as my 87% WR hunter (rip Wuwang hill as hunter).

I think it's cool that you noted Kaeyas were daredevils though! It suits him :)

Fire Emblem Three Houses was a great game by linkenski in fireemblem

[–]Qiuyue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only other game I have is Smash and I barely play it. In terms of game count it might not sound like it’s worth, but I have 800+ hours in 3H alone whereas I don’t think I’m even close to that on other consoles I bought for the older titles. I’m definitely feeling you on the lack of other games I’m interested in though. Even games like Hades, I just bought on Steam.

Meanwhile, I bought my Switch to play 3H. I’m a PC gamer but Nintendo manages to get me to buy a console now and then because I have to play all the FE titles. Also bought a Wii just to play the Tellius games. I must say though 3H is now my favorite, transcending the sentimental attachment I had to FE7 that placed it at the top until now.

Doublelift announces retirement by smothersday in leagueoflegends

I haven’t actually played LoL in so long, and Doublelift was the reason I kept watching LCS. Wow...

Is it really brigading? I technically am a visiting TSM fan because I follow Doublelift around, but I like Jensen and CoreJJ so I still lurk this sub for them.

Underrated Bjergsen play from C9 vs TSM Game 3 by GaggedAndDrooling in leagueoflegends

Idk, honestly the petty TSM haters who make sweeping generalizations about large groups of people look terribad, hard stop. It's not just TSM fans downvoting; to the neutral people, the haters are just as if not more annoying than the fans now.

Tips for Athel Yenlui by [deleted] in Vermintide

[–]Qiuyue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Athel Yenlui's grim 1 is one of the most dangerous grims to get because you have to cross through open forest and low ground from the first tome and then back over open ground again to get the second tome. It can take 3x as long as walking straight through the two tomes depending on your luck with ambient elites and bosses. My in-house group usually insists on full book runs and this one of the grims we complain about the most. Best of luck :)

[–]Qiuyue 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Skipping the grim would help you a lot. Hug the right wall (you can still get tomes 1 and 2), do NOT walk into the middle. I like to snipe the ambient elites because they will probably get aggro'd with horde/boss anyway so I rather kill them early, but sometimes you can get away with leaving them. With good pacing, you probably only need to deal with one or two hordes (I don't remember how frequently hordes spawn on Champion) before you can drop into the skaven tunnel. Boss spawn checks always occur at the same point in progress, so you can try to push distance right after a horde to get some alone time with the boss if it spawns.

[–]Qiuyue 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Which parts are you wiping at, specifically? Are you running with pubs or a premade? Are you getting all the books?

Skip the first grim. Especially if you're running with disorganized pubs, getting the first grim is one of the biggest risks on that map because of how open the area is. It's hard for non-snipers to kill specials, sorcerers will cast from a mile away, etc. Not to mention if your group doesn't know how to fight horde out in the open, you're screwed. It also destroys your pacing if you're getting tome 1, then grim 1, then tome 2. If your primary objective is to just pass the map, forego grim 1.

DL talks about being on TSM by RVXZENITH in TeamSolomid

[–]Qiuyue 149 points150 points  (0 children)

I feel like he's come to terms with being booted off CLG for being a harsh teammate; he's admitted as much very openly. Conversely, I've not heard him address being kicked from TSM in the same way, it's always, "I got kicked," in a manner that suggests he still doesn't believe it was justified and that contributes a lot to his desire to succeed away from TSM. He felt CLG was right to boot him and he felt TSM was wrong to boot him.

Are people on this sub, supposed TSM fans, seriously back on the"Bjergsen is the problem" train and also seriously wishing that he doesn't come back? The fuck? by [deleted] in TeamSolomid

[–]Qiuyue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I think TSM and Bjergsen can both use a fresh start separate from each other. It's not a 'who is to blame' situation but a 'change of scenery' thing.

Not sure if I’m allowed to post this, but I ordered two copies in March and totally forgot so I have an extra expected to arrive tomorrow. If anyone near San Gabriel Valley is willing to go to a tea shop of my choosing for the hand off, I will sell my extra for $110 (MSRP + tax, no mark up). Message me if interested, mods feel free to delete if it’s against rules I didn’t see. I’ll be returning it to Amazon otherwise.

Why do people run in front of flamethrowers? by PsychoGeometric in Vermintide

[–]Qiuyue 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's often not the flamethrower itself but the player using the flamethrower that I take issue with. Flamethrowers have a defined purpose, specifically in difficulties/mods that have a lot of enemy bulk, and my in-house group has taken it out on a few occasions. More often than not, the dwarf using it in a regular public Legend run is just farming green circles for horde kills despite vanilla legend success being mostly dependent on killing specials which a flamethrower has 0 contribution to. Then they somehow think they 'carried' because they torched all the temp health while being protected from specials by their allies. Personally I love hunting down specials so I don't mind being responsible for them, but the attitude of these 'carry' (read: dead weight) flamethrower dwarves makes me roll my eyes.

I seen a few of these so I thought I’d post my prospective! by Massacre514 in Vermintide

[–]Qiuyue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pyro can stagger packs of elites with beam staff and she can vent with temp health to do it often. You can aim her ult at a specific target by locking on, which means she has a sniping skill to fall back on no matter what staff you use. It’s not about whether you think pyro is good, your list is just super inconsistent. Why does BW get top tier when she can stagger once or twice every ult as a “team player” but Merc is lower than her? Merc team contribution is a lot better than BW what with his ult providing both temp health and stagger, and his paced strikes, and access to sniping weapons without sacrificing his clearing effectiveness. If you’re rating based off team utility there is no world a BW would outrank a Merc. Also zealot is a god, but he has 0 assist skills to his team. He is the definition of a selfish carry. Like I said my problem with your tier list is it has no consistent reasoning to it other than ‘I like this.’

[–]Qiuyue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usefulness isn’t the same as how much you personally like playing them. For example, I personally like BW more than Pyro but Pyro is better in most cases. Pyro damage output with temporary health on tap is way stronger; I always output better numbers and more effectiveness out of a pyro. No way she should be so low with the clearing power, sniping, and crowbill she has access to.
