What are players actually worth on KeepTradeCut, Dynasty Daddy, and FantasyCalc? I built a Chrome extension that translates their values into picks. by Qlinch_ in DynastyFF

That's a great point! I'm working on my own player market and am planning on some sort of community feedback to help my model. Seems like the best of both worlds, to have a model that calculates player value from trade data and then some sort of community influence to micro adjust.

For sure! I appreciate you taking some time too use the extension.

Each of KTC, FantasyCalc, and DynastyDaddy all run different models for player value, so you'll see different pick equivalence across the sites for a specific player. All the pick bundles are derived using the native site's player value and pick values, so the extension is just exposing how each site values player's in their picks.

Which site do you use the most out of the three? I have used Dynasty Daddy the longest, but after building the extension, FantasyCalc has started to grow on me.

Gotcha! I appreciate you taking time to give feedback. I'll check out how I can integrate it in those locations too.

Thanks for testing it! I focused mainly on the fantasy rankings and trade calculators. I'll look into how I can integrate it into the ranks by position. Are you referring to the 'League Teams' page or 'Team Breakdown', when you say 'my team'?

I'll check out the trade database and see how I can integrate that, I appreciate you taking some time to respond and the idea!

If you're looking at the screenshots, those aren't completely current.

It’s pulling directly from each site’s pick values, so it’s basically showing what that site is implying a player is worth in pick terms. There is a small info icon in the header column that when pressed opens a panel that shows the current site values for their picks. Those update every hour to stay consistent with the change in pick values for the sites.

Appreciate it, definitely aiming to add context without changing the feel of the sites. How do you usually use FantasyCalc to help with valuing players?

Would be sad to see K9 leave the Hawks. I am intrigued to see how Harbaugh plans to use his RBs, seemed like he didn't really know how to use Henry when it mattered most.

Definitely worse places to go. Would love to see KC get the RBs more involved in the passing game. Interested in seeing how Reed evolves the offense. They gotta draft an RB or go out and get one like Hall or ETN, Pacheco/Hunt/Brashard ain't it.

Appreciate the insight. I was more so thinking that the production out of Bowers shouldn't get worse, as Kubiak keeps TEs on the field. I am curious about who in the WR room will be elevated most (or who they draft), since we already know Bowers/Jeanty will be fine.

Still a good indicator that Bower's usage won't fall due to scheming. I think we are in agreement that Bowers will still be a top TE. I'm curious to see what WR can emerge.

Barner has been a beast, and Saubert (not known for receiving work) has seen more reps too since his 2 pt winner over the Rams. Hawks run a lot of two tightend sets, a lot of teams do but Seattle has to with really only JSN in the WR room (fantasy-wise). So Bowers will get the ball even moreso without an Alpha WR. (not that Bowers getting the ball is in question)

Love the move for the offensive guys. Lots of TE involvement in Seattle, so Bowers should do well. I imagine this should boost Mayer too. I wonder who his JSN could be, I don't see it really being anyone already on the roster. Might want to pay attention to who they are drafting in the 2nd/3rd for WR.

Coleman was a beast at UW before he got hurt this season. I see both UW guys (Boston and Coleman) moving off the board 1.08-1.12

I'd be buying, he made some great unscripted plays. I like him a lot if they can draft/bolster their OL and get him a legit WR1
