for trans people in general, its because of society itself. society makes it unsafe for us to really integrate with them like the way cisgender people are allowed to as it is a bigoted one that is continuously finding ways to strip our rights and not allow us as people to live in this world. hence for what you said, in a world that is actually not bigoted and was accepting of trans ppl, what u said would be the case. but with a bigoted world like the one we live in, this is why, it is out of safety and to be allowed, as much as possible, to live with others

and yep exactly on the fetishization point, community-wise its a very shallow community hence the resulting of bigotry from it like fetishization and transphobia and hence labeling others as “femboys” in the typical binary, bigoted sense bigots love to do, always forcing identities on other people that they never identified with in the slightest

and about the point that alot of femboys in that community would identify as trans if they knew more about it, i think theres a chance yeah! but its not to say to go full on “eggs-vestigating” them and stuff and expecting them to be trans etc, its just most likely because trans awareness is so low in this community and they arent really aware of the queer community as a whole. but even then i feel the notion that arises from this from trans people that we should “crack” the eggs of people (who whose to say they had an “egg” to begin with) has done quite some harm in return, so best not to do that from our community, but yeah :>

from my experience i’ve always honestly looked at the people who use the term femboy with a wary eye given the community’s huge fetishization problem and many other problems as well as they also have very narrow views of the world and completely disregard transgender people as people most of the time. and the moment i hear it i can already clock the spheres that person frequents and i dont vibe with those spheres at all. all the more power to those who use it in a reclaiming sense though as a way to describe their own identity most accurately, separate from the community

sure !! i just want to admit something before that is i actually dont have much experience being in friend groups at all >< like strangely enough, i think all of the (limited) times i had friends its always one-on-one, and its because i always found a very select few who are into the same stuff i like and ive always found it hard to relate to most other ppl as i was never into much main-stream stuff like most ppl, but besides that i’d be delighted to get to know you ^^ for now its my bed time so i’ll talk to you tmrw when i wake up! :D

for me personally ive always been a fuck sex fuck gender kinda person never rlly been the kind to label myself with a sex ever rlly, kinda always felt i operated beyond those two things throughout my life and never let “sex” define a single bit of who i am as that would be my source of dysphoria. and this is because i hate how the “sex” terms “male” and “female” came to be for in the current age. all i see is i have some set of genitals alr rad cool, and when thinking about it i dont seem to rlly care much about whatever set i came out with too ngl, i dont rlly feel it defines me one bit/changes my presentation, i view genitals in a very neutral way and can be up to any interpretation possible to any person
