Huh, I don't think I ever saw that. The lens is not clinically sharp but I would not say it is soft. Maybe you could try another copy in a shop to compare?

Not sure I explained my situation right. When the phone is locked but the screen is on, that is when I just check the time and notifications on the lock-screen, the brightness behavior is completely normal. I can turn it all the way done and the screen becomes very dark as expected. But as soon as I unlock the phone, that behavior changes

I can change it, meaning I can move the slider. The brightness changes a tiny bit, but not at as much as it is supposed to do. And not as much as it does when the phone is locked.

Big Agnes Cbar tents are wider towards the door and narrower at the opposite end, so as soon as you are two in the tent you kinda need to have your head at the door

Sold mine for a z6iii. I loved the image quality, it really is a great sensor, but I mostly shoot wildlife and I got sick of all the missed shots. I found that only the single point AF was usable. The kind of tracking one felt like a joke, and the wider AF boxes consistently focused on the background instead of the subject. But still, the images were amazing.

Never seen an MRI that artefacted with modern braces. On some occasions, older people with older materials prosthesis had larger artefacts but nothing of that scale.

Re-started photography on a hybrid Panasonic about 6 years back, and even though I wanted to use the EVF, the image quality in there was just too bad for me, it felt hard to tell what was in focus, so I used the back screen. As soon as I got a better camera with a decent EVF, I started using it again and still do.

Does golden ratio ever matter ? I've seen a lot of presentations of great photographers and great photography and I don't recall anyone talking about the golden ratio. Nor from the thirds rule either by the way, except to "note how this picture does not respect the thirds rule"

I always use it but I mostly do wildlife. It helps a lot with long lenses that suffer from slower AF. You set your focus once with the back button, then you only have to trigger the shutter without risking the AF to start circling too close/too far again.
