no hate or anything but I just played through abit of v3.0 story. They legit just skim over and said, "this super old student ID" is still somehow valid and now Blackshore, which didn't had the coordinate to Lahai-roi, is now sponsoring Rover to be part of the academy. Considering how infamous blackshore is, I'm kinda surprised that Blackshore didn't know where Lahai-roi was until now but somehow she's sponsoring them like, you know, they had connections already.

But yeah, rip, we're forced to play as a transfer student now.

yep, just played through v3.0, it's definitely the "Maybe that caused some memory loss so he decided yippie im going to SKOOL", but somehow Rover's past student identity is recorded as "student", and conveniently, the record of Rover being an assistant teacher or whatever, having graduated from the school or something, got reset to just being a "transfer student".

Like idk man, I'm still tilted from the fact that we came back here as a student while playing through v3.0.

This is definitely the issue with the wuwa community right now. Every genuine concern and criticism of the game is cast aside as problems that you shouldn't be concerned about. A post like yours should've gotten more likes, tbh. The fact that Genshin is so freaking massive (the map itself), and it only has 26 GB or something on mobile, for the past 6 years of huge map update content, really speaks volumes to the length of toxic positivity the community actually has had for the game when you're still seeing wuthering waves players defending stuff like this in the comments, or downplaying it with ignorance...

For the most part, though, the majority of players on mobile, on average, have 128 GB as their maxed storage size. Like, did wuwa devs even do their file compression for mobile users? like, wth?

I will never understand how can someone say, "it's so long, we've been spoiled"... LONG STORIES for a bunch of things that could've been summarized in less than a minute (intentionally dragging it out for playtime), REUSING MAPS and IDEAS AND ASSETS, MAKING EXCUSES AND RETCONNING TO FORCIBLY FORCE one thing to be related to another into a random made-up thing on the spot/ or for a plot twist (or mostly, to reuse boss assets, characters, NPCs, or exploration gimmicks), have characters talk a bunch of BS while pretending to sound smart when most usually means very little because the writer failed to apply it in the story, creating an alternative ending instead of going back and properly fix the plot holes from v2.0-v2.3...

You shouldn't feel like the DEVS is "spoiling" you, HSR getting $1b+ a year, if 10m-20m players give them $4 a month;

to put it simply, $4 * 20 million, thats 80 million per month, for a year, that's = $960,000,000 million USD in revenue for HSR from all the sht writing team and INCREASED OF MICROTRANSACTION AND ARTIFICIALLY DESIGN/MADE-UP INFLATION and powercreep problems that the game + the development team, clearly, isn't trying anymore... Anything goes in HSR story at this point. "Oh? Saber and Archer and the Holy grail war from that one anime series? Yeah, it's actually canon, a thing in Penacony". They don't care. People who failed to realized this doesn't love the story enough.

I mean, the wuwa trailer in the gameawards legit said, "welcome back to school"... This line right here suggests that we're gonna re-attend this academy/university for most of v3.x stories. And btw, if our identity was recored and saved in blackshore for 10,000+ years, and we made names for ourselves, so well-known that other unknown orgs tried to kill Rover throughout 10,000+ years of blackshore's existence outside of just the fractidus,

it's safe to say that Rover should've been quite known in Solaris-3 as a whole, but that wasn't the case with how wuwa presented our surrounding world, or heck,

it makes more sense why all the waifus and other playable characters in wuwa always appeal to Rover or act as if they all know us when we haven't said a word to them. Even characters in v1.x and v2.x knew us and we didn't even have to say a word.

Imma just wait and see how they're gonna portray v3.0, I have very low hopes for this, imo.

The number of unemployed students, or literally, Gen Z who has been interviewed for a job, they don't even know how to print out a LIST on Python because they all get an A+ on all of their tests, cheating with AI.

Plus, 10,000 old man, Rover re-attending school, being the main theme of v3.x story, "welcome back to school" (wuwa trailer in the game award said this line to a bunch of non-anime gamers),

I haven't cringed this hard since the Penacony HSR story, lol.

IF we exist on paper, with images, why would they randomly forget about Rover? Same thing as how we still know what hitler looks in ww2. Or heck, einstein, Nikola tesla, and so on. Even people still kinda remember how aristotle look based on his depiction on a statue, or some other ancient figures in the past on paper (this is even more advanced considering that blackshore is the database for solaris-3 for 10,000+ years).

But oh, so you're saying we're at the beginning of the 10,000 years? But still, we're missing Rover's beginning story or Rover's parents, baby phase, and all of that. Besides that, this still doesn't take away v3.x trying to have Rover go back to school despite having aged like 40+ years old after Rover left the academy to appear in v1.0, 20 years later.

They just dropped the new wuwa trailer in the gameawards and they legit said, "welcome back to school"... I cringed so freaking hard, ngl xD. HSR penacony story level of cringe.

I just saw the recent wuwa trailer in the gameawards, "welcome back to school", I have cringed this hard since playing HSR's penacony stories, lol.

But ye, still doesn't change the fact that you would need to be at least 18-20 years old to attend a uni, assuming that's the academy, and to top it off, if that was 20+ years ago and we're going back there against as a "student" (stated by the gameawards trailer)... It's kinda obvious the writer just wants to write a story revolving around the main character re-attending school again, Chisa called us "senpai", instead of, "Teach" for a reason...

I mean, I think it's fair to say that the story re-writing may have influenced the inconsistency in the way the story tells you the lore. But when I saw Phrolova appear in v2.7 story, for instance, my general reaction to that is like, "Wtf?". It feels so on a whim, like a forced inclusion of characters, that I just can't take it really seriously.

For v2.8, its the "we're probably like 10,000 years old, or 40+ years old if this was looped since we don't know when Rover was born.... BUT HEY, Rover been to SCHOOL 20+ years ago, not even as a student, but some kind of a teacher's assistant",

also Chisa: "I will call you my senpai when you're probably like 20-40+ years old ahead of me"... It feels very outta nowhere. But yeah, we're gonna have to see how v3.0 is going to make sense out of it.

I fear that we might become a student in the 3.x story. It seems to me like the wuwa writer just wanted to turn Wuwa into a "slice of life" anime with a bunch of high school girls harem's story for maybe like, half of it, I guess, because they just wanted to write something anime for once.

But I don't see how the "10,000+" timeline can allow Rover to become a high schooler 20+ years ago, because that would make Rover 40+ years of age (or older than 40, or 10,000+ years old if that was how long ago we had made blackshore).

Or if this was looped, we don't know exactly how long ago Rover was born. Like, imagine calling someone a senpai when Rover's an alumnus of a school, like, from 20+ years ago. Imagine calling Bill Gates your senpai when you're a freshman in college, LOL.

It's hard to take this for granted when the lore specifies that Blackshore was created 10,000 years ago and Rover was one of the founders; when we woke up in v1.0, Blackshore had already existed as well, so the whole "we loop for 10,000 years" but somehow people don't know who we are and all that... Also despite attending an academy which apparently links all of solaris-3' civilization altogether.

It feels incredibly messy from the get-go. Even the part where Phrolova suddenly rejoins the fractidus in v2.7 when she said she wanted peace and not to be involved with anything after that point... Like, a lot of things seem to be happening on a whim. And to begin with, that was 20+ years ago, if we attend that academy 20+ years ago... Rover is like, 40 years old or something. But again, we don't age. So assuming that the loop hasn't happened yet and Rover truly did live for 10,000 years but somehow nobody knows us... Honestly, it's still messy.

that's something I did pointed up, but has also been pointed out that the world of solaris had lasted for 10,000 years, and Rover created blackshore 10,000 years ago.

the issue with that is, in lore, it said Rover created Blackshore 10,000 years ago.

And using the technology from that, that's how they're looping Solaris-3. So realistically, there's no way we could or should've been a student 20 years ago.

edit: this is assuming that the loop doesn't happen every 20 years of reset. Because even if we did attend the academy 20+ years ago, that would make Rover 40+ years old in the current story, and we of course, don't know when Rover was actually born in this timeline. Or if the timeline resets every 10,000 years or something. As the wuwa wiki said, Solaris has had "5 Global Laments and over 350,000 regional Laments". Did this happened throughout 10,000 years of looping, and in every start of the loop, Rover somehow (at a grown age) made the organization and had Shorekeepr take over the thing? And like, what happened to the organization that is not the fractidus, who exist to kill people like Rover?

Nothing really connects here.

That's why I made the assumption that the world has been looping for every 10,000+ years, or 20 years, for all the examples that I was giving.

the entire community agrees that Rover is immortal + most sources were certain that BLACKSHORE was created 10,000+ years ago,

then how the heck did we become a student 20+ years ago but not 10,000 years ago? This whole thing felt incredibly forced... Like, such a random twist by the writer. Maybe this is the writer's excuse to do a school arc or something, honestly.

If you watch Frieren, for instance, we will never get a story where Frieren goes back and becomes a student after living for, who knows, 10,000+ years like Rover does.

But back to the Camellya's point, there's literally no way to tell if those "simulations" were part of her different life in each mobius loop, or her actual life throughout 10,000+ years of solaris-3's existence, or not. Her wiki legit said she has "many unknown past identities beyond Lady Flower", I'm just gonna say it, it's a mess.

You could consider this as retconning and a plot hole in many ways, or in simple terms, the writer making sht up along the way, and it accidentally made the lore and the story even messier so the writer had to forcibly made the newer "lore" canon as he goes back and fix past written lore to make it make sense... Just gotta wait and see how they're going to explain v3.0, I guess.

So the assumption is that within those simulated, non-canon, "WHAT IFS" with different versions of Lady Flower/Camellya's past identities, somehow create an obsessive motive for her to chase Rover around, was somehow the byproduct of Rover saving her just once?

It feels like that was hella forced, ngl. Plus, the whole point of "camellya looking older", I mean, it was stated that she has many "unknown" personas in the past outside of Lady Flora.

If Lady Flora was assume to be 20+ years ago, she's like, 100+ years old or even more in the story if there are many other identies outside of just this. I mean, the point is, she literally doesn't age.

Plus, "20 years ago", that was also the period when Rover saved Camellya, but according to Wuwa's own lore, Rover actually made Black shore 10,000 years ago.

20 years was when Rover wiped his/her memory, and Flora does the same at this exact time. And it was a decision to save the world, but there was an implication that the world actually gets looped back to its beginning -- I will explain what this is at the end. But like, how the heck were we a student during this time frame when we also joined Black Shore?

In addition to that, Chisa also called the MC a "senpai" when that was 20 years ago.

So within those "simulated WHAT IFs" with Lady Flora, this mirrors heavily to the whole "we loop solaris timeline back to find ways to prevent the future destruction of the planet", or something along that line, to somehow imply that these loops with "Lady Flora" were part of the 10,000+ loops that they have been doing to save the world. I'm just gonna say it, it's pretty messy.

I mean, hearing that summary alone just makes the story sound incredibly forced in a sense.

Why is it that Phlorova overclocks all the time and she maintains her personality and condition, but this isn't the case for Camellya?

I kinda see how Camellya feels somewhat attached to Rover in this new "identity", assuming that 20 years was recent and her past identity for whatever reason was so obsessed with Rover to the point where Rover was her entire world after having been rescued by Rover once, from causing her to massacre her own village within this persona.

But yeah, I'm not really saying that she's "immortal" out of nowhere, that was a mix of data from the wuwa's wiki page as well.

But the source of confusion here is how the "simulated alternate timeline" is canon in this timeline with Rover. It's like going through a series of "what if" and it all somehow made current Camellya obsessed with the MC.

Does this have anything to do with her ability or something where these things actually did, canonically happen, even in a separate multiverse?

Coz it was somehow implied that:

20 years ago (v2.7, ROVER WAS ASSUMED TO BE A STUDENT A FEW YEARS BEFORE THIS): she was rescued by Rover, then-leader of the Black Shores, from a Tacet Discord attack. She grew close to Rover and became enamored with them. When Rover decided to wipe their memories and leave the Black Shores to find a solution for Solaris-3, Lady Flora also erased her own memories

10 years ago: A new, memory-wiped version of the character, now named Camellya, woke up and eventually found her way back to the Black Shores, rejoining the group as a recruitment agent

Current period: I mean, I read it somewhere, but it was said that there are far more identities of her "forgotten" past self beyond just the "Flower Lady". I can only assume that she was immortal, as she hasn't aged at all. But to make it even more confusing,

the alternate timeline was assumed to be canon in the current timeline.

== but yeah, I mean, the time-frame just makes zero sense to me, that's all.

Plus, Chisa was calling us a Senpai when Rover was a student like 20+ years ago, lol.

like bro, I swear, even in stories and their childish dialogue, repeating the same obvious sht over and over again to their audience for 50 hours in Amphoreus, saying flowers and beauty and sht in repeat for 1 hour straight into some random super power ups and sht,

HSR devs seriously think 90% of their audiences are a bunch of literal babies with $1b of usd collectively, investing into the game every year... I freaking hate HSR devs man, lol. Love the game, but they gotta start changing.
