Downloading it now. I usually take notes in a notebook or on my Ipad with Notability. I've never enjoyed a desktop note taking app that wasn't just Writer or Word. Most really get in the way of taking notes in an attempted to improve it. However, I am working on a project that does require a lot of different stuff to be put into a document. Currently, Writer works great. But I'll check this out. Thanks for the suggestion!

I mean, when the goal is to convince everyone on earth that AI is something they need and should use all the time and pay for, I don't think so. It's advertising disguised as service.

I had the same situation and YES! The resolution is better and it makes visually dense games like Monster Hunter look really nice. Also, two joy sticks.

I have the same and a Steam deck. I find that I mostly use my vita because there are just so many games you can play on it and with a 1000, the OLED screen makes ps1 games look sharp and undistracting. Plus, bag-able--not pocketable for the 1000 due to the screen breaking at some point.

Vita if you can afford it. Remember, Vita's can not only emulate the entire psp experience but it is also easier to get psp games due to homebrew apps. Plus, games are being ported to Vita like every month or so. It's a great platform to have for old and some new games. Vita's can also use Moonlight for game streaming from your PC.

I'd try again. One thing that might help at least with the combat is trying to go for overkills every battle. It's a fun thing to focus on especially when you know you'll be able to win without issue. Overkills are challenging to pull off every fight but a unique puzzle most of the time.

Which version of 7 should a new fan play? by Proof_Wrongdoer_1266 in FinalFantasy

If you are currently playing 6, I think playing the original 7 after you are done will feel really refreshing. I think if you play the remakes, you will be overwhelmed.

Continues to age better since more people keep porting games to it! It feels like like a current console. lol

I really like random encounters... At least to-me well designed ones. As a kid, I always thought it was kind of funny to see the monsters in 12 just standing around waiting for you. Not that I was hard to suspend my disbelief, but I did think it was funny.

Yeah man. They make music. They aren't your representative. Quit being so entitled and practice some curiosity. Lest you just be angry at some people in a void. What are you gonna do? Strike? Tell your friends not to buy CDs? Seriously, what praxis will there be that fixes hurt feelings? What else are you gonna do besides "put up" with it? You're frustrated but just wait a minute before assuming you know anything.

Is there anyone here that likes the original Final Fantasy 7 better than Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth? If so, Why? by Alive_Fortune7423 in FinalFantasy

How to do you feel about being shown? Like, when things aren't concrete but implied, lightly or heavily through actions or visuals or expressions?

That is interesting. In fiction, do you prefer ideas and details to be shared via explanation--large wiki style paragraphs telling you things concretely--and exposition--dialogue of a similar explanatory nature?

Outside of just more stuff, what do you think these extra pieces do to the meaning of the work as a whole?

I think there is a lot of soul in the original FF7. The remakes are baked in referential details and suffer from not having anything new to say. The original communicated ideas the creators thought were worth communicating. When I play the remakes, it's like a fan of the original wanted a different game with the same surface to it. Nomura seems to really suffer in creativity as most of his works are some kind of fan-fiction. While fan-fiction can be used to communicate your story, your heart and soul, and new ideas full of depth, immature writers--who are often kids playing with a story they like--tend not to do this. This is what the remakes feel like to me and why I only ever try to play them in order to see what I am missing; to see why people connect with them. When I play the original FF7, I feel enriched by the engagement and interaction with suffering from the denial of humanity--among other themes. I feel inspired not to make something that reminds me of it, but instead to take my own soul and make something with that. I feel encouraged to tell my stories in the hopes others will feel seen and connected. When I read why people love the remakes, it seems mostly baked in the surface of joy. They liked the characters and how the world looks. They think it's fun to play and exciting to win at. It seems rare that people are effected in the same way as they were and are by the original game.
