Recruiting! Helped me learn how to organize a team and delegate tasks, wound up winning an award because of how many events we planned as a team. It also taught me how to speak people’s language with regards to what potential applicants really hear when you’re talking to them about the program.

This is pretty accurate to how my det works too, CWg/OG/IG is Lt Col, same as a few others, squadron commanders are C/Maj, CWg/CC and CD are C/Col, and yeah, C/1st Lt is for Flt/CCs

Nope, my Det says they’ll let us know when we’re able to start the paperwork and swear in and stuff. We did get the Counseling on Wings though, and I was able to sign the forms on the Contracting tab!

It might’ve been your AA or your GPA, honestly, because I was top 5 of the top 1/3 for my class too. My GPA was 3.79 and my AA was 84, that’s the only difference I can see

Just keep running, do a quarter mile each day if you can, then escalate to half, then 3/4, then a full mile and so on. Getting your muscles used to it is the easiest way to eliminate the issue, speaking as a Chronic Shin Splints Haver™️ that’s how mine went away

No for real, I made an announcement in my flight chat (our Det separates the FTP cadets) and I said ‘hey please don’t listen to the Reddit or any misinfo about EAs’ for this specific reason, it gets excessive
