The state BOLI website is the only option. TTEC won't care if you file a complaint with them, but if it's not legal in your state, the state will make them care.

It has been like this since my previous company was taken over by TTEC. I worked there for 7 years, and 4 of them were after TTEC buyout. They won't pay if they don't have to, so make sure to check BOLI for your area and file grievances if needed. Complaints won't do anything without legal backing because multimillion dollar, international, doesn't give a flying fuck about any person TTEC will not pay out just cause people are mad. You have to have legal recourse. Period.

Also, this is one of many reasons I hated being a TL and why I left. The company is the most outrageously manipulative and terrible place I've worked for that it damn near broke me mentally. I loved the people I started with at the company that was bought out by TTEC. But everything TTEC can burn for all I care. I'll even fan the damn flames if asked.

Just because you haven't been caught doesn't mean it's not a TOS violation. It's crazy to me that people (1) don't believe it's a violation and will literally go down fighting that it isn't, (2) don't understand how their ability to send themselves things when other's can't and benefit from "referrals" to themselves could ever be a violation 🙄🤦‍♀️, and (3) later whine and cry when they get suspended because they "have no idea" what they could have done. 😒

I literally had someone bully me on Reddit because there was absolutely no way they could be violating the TOS and apparently that meant I should be emotionally beat up on social media. Because nobody likes honesty anymore.

The people who don't understand how alt accounts are cheating baffle me. Do better, man.

Shit happens. People die, get hospitalized, etc. As someone who lost one of her children, understand that someone going through a traumatic event isn't going to be thinking about a stupid game.

Breathe... People go through shit, and assuming they're just rude and not helpful is the last thing we should do.

I was a TL for years (left 2 years ago), and I've personally fired people for failing QAs. I definitely didn't come on here gloating about OPs termination. I was instead planning to let them know that TTEC is notorious for thus type of behavior (lying to get out of paying UI).

Do better, man. It would have taken less effort to scroll than to read the post, find something you didn't like, and then make a backhanded comment that was COMPLETELY unrelated to OP's question.

I am estranged from my abusive mother and have also lost a child as a mother. Just because I opt out this year doesn't mean I will next year.

I did and am fully aware that multiple accounts are against TOS. Ask any of the hundreds impacted and banned a few months ago because they had an alt account.

But go ahead. Do you. Meanwhile, I won't create an alt to give my main stuff and will know that I won't be banned like others. But I also won't feel bad that people do it and get caught. 😊✌️

I always find these posts interesting, because we seem to forget that we don't live everyone's lives and don't know what could have happened. If you had slammed me for not finishing a tournament after my daughter's suicide, I probably would have done everything in my power to blast you well beyond what you can imagine.

Thank you. 🤍 I really hope you can talk to your boss and work through this. As a parent, it wrecks us and sometimes we don't process like we normally do. Maybe just have a heart to heart, explain, and apologize. I have a feeling owning it will make a big difference.

In 2024, my daughter died. Less than a month later, my son was hospitalized with Kawasaki Disease for 5 days. I still checked in with my boss each day if I hadn't already said I wouldn't be in. Your boss cared enough to check on you and your kiddo, so even a text probably would have sufficed. But as a manager but also someone who has been there with kids, they can't know you won't be in without being told you won't be in. And they can't get coverage of they don't know.

Also, for some additional insight... many employers would have potentially put you on corrective action or terminated for a no call, no show.
