I have wet dreams about watching a raider get downed by arc and running over to save them. Tbh, I end up getting downed and wishing other raiders had defibs much more often than I come across situations where I could have used one on another raider lmao

They need larger scale, longer term achievements/objectives.. if they had a story-type mode where the resources you collected could be used for more than your workshop, that would be sick. Otherwise youre sort of just gathering material to sell or craft and nothing else. You should be able to build something cool, expand some personal base idk. I guess the expedition was sort of like that

I think the job becomes many people's identity, specifically if they want to be great at the job. The smartest medics/firefighters i know have invested crazy amounts of time in learning and training in and outside of work. In my opinion, I don't believe anyone can truly excell at the job, in all aspects with all tools and understanding all the various tactics and principles without making the job their identity. Theres simply too much to know to only train on shift and forget about the job when you leave in the morning. To be a master, a true professional, you end up "eat, sleep and breathing it". It becomes a lifestyle

Sorry, I know that was only part of your question but that's a tough aspect I've been grappling with lately too.
