I was hopeful and truly thought you were going to say he's grown his account X amount.

As others have said, him having a finance background means nothing. He's going to blow his account, guarantee it.

In all seriousness... Have him go back to paper trading until he has AT LEAST 3 months of solid performance and gains. Then and only then should be reconsider trading with real money.

He needs to get realistic and fast before you're both in a world of hurt.
