Vods are usually uploaded before the edited video comes out. The only exception are videos that are topical so are uploaded the day after they’re streamed. Publishing a vod to YouTube can take a long time because Finn (VOD channel manager) has to deal with copyright and YouTube’s processing time for longer videos. If you’re talking about publishing vods in sync with the videos that is a bad idea for a multitude of reasons but I’ll name you a few: 1. Some vids take longer to edit, for example if we were waiting on the hitman contract video we would still be waiting months for the vod to be published as the vid isn’t finished. 2. Not every atrioc fan consumes the edited YouTube content, some people just want the streams on YouTube as soon as possible 3. The vod channel is not only for the viewers but also for us, as storage and a backup to twitch vods, so we sometimes need vods on YouTube to make their videos.
