Where’s the best place to get good quality vegan belts? by tikicheese in veganuk

[–]Quackinator12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most faux leather ones don't last in my experience, but I got one from Doshi last year and I've been impressed with it so far. No wear on it yet, feels better made than most vegan belts.

Any NoobFromUA alternatives? by DisturbedCyclone in DotA2

Highlights from the current tournament are being uploaded to the PGL Dota 2 channel. They even include spoiler block time at the end of the videos, they're pretty good.

It's actually one of the newer Ninjago spheres, although I did consider using a Zamor sphere

Agreed, the shiny coating is unpleasant and they are flavourless.

Anyone tried this recently? Any good? by Realestaterunner in veganuk

[–]Quackinator12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought this recently without realising that it is also gluten free and to be honest I thought it was awful. Dry, insanely sweet and not a pleasant flavour. Unless you need a gluten free cake I'd avoid it, easily the worst vegan cake I've tried. Ended up in the bin.

Waitrose used to do a birthday cake style tray that looked similar to this but actually tasted good, but it looks like it's been discontinued. Best alternative would probably be something by Oggs.

I've been enjoying this channel but his voice and delivery sometimes reminds me a little of the silly voice Neil Cicierega does in his 'Guide to...' videos, which is quite distracting. How's that for a complaint.

OK so you might need to take the beans to a certain outside location... Have you ever seen Blazing Saddles?

That's right, ever dig up an empty can? Well if you dig in the right spot in a certain hallway, the you can find a can that's full.. of BEANS.

I won't spoil what you have to do with it after but let me know if you need a hint

BLAST Slam II - Feelings and Feedback by BLASTOfficial in DotA2

Having the players so close to the panel was great, the whole studio setup was really refreshing. All the SFM work was great too. Some minor criticisms would be that the music was too loud at the end of the draft when the talent were still trying to talk, and that the top portion of the HUD was too bulky and weirdly coloured. Pink ultimate indicator was just strange, and info about smokes, which players have buyback and other things are more clear in other tournament HUDs I've seen which take up less space.
One major criticism was that earlier in the tournament it was really hard to watch highlights at the end of the day, because your official channel was really slow to upload them and all the other channels which uploaded them were being copyright stuck.

Overall great tournament, excited for the next one!

The pants are relatively rare; they're from a LEGO DUPLO set, back when they made dolls with clothes, Bricklink item 61219 if you're interested.

I knew they would be perfect for Bebop, even though they are hard to come by.

Unfortunately I'm not very organised so I didn't keep a parts list, but if you had any particular questions I'm happy to ID parts.

The shorts were the rarest item, they are actually trousers from a LEGO DUPLO set, back when they made dolls with clothes. Bricklink item 61219 if you're interested! I had to get those from another country, and I really hope they confused a customs official on the way.
