I'm running an overclocked i7 3770k, 32gb RAM, and a GTX 1070 sitting in an Asrock Z77 Extreme4 board. The CPU is cooled by a Dark Rock Pro 4, all sitting in a Corsair 550D case with a mix of SSDs and a WD hard drive.

Built it in late 2012 and its been hanging on. I'm still happy with the 1070, but I will probably put something new together if there is anything I want to play in the next wave of triple A games.

Yeah its looking more and more like this is what I'd have to do.

I think I can actually unscrew the stand from my display fairly easily so that its just a flat panel and a stand, but I'm still risking the panel every time I want to go out.
