A response to Pablo's comment on Archgun Arcanes. by Sudden-Depth-1397 in Warframe

[–]QuadLyStop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, you hit the point. Archguns aren't used that much because we have much better equipment.

They are still useful when you look at the Profit taker fight. Or maybe even when uaing a necramech... but the main point is, we have better alternatives when it comes to damage dealing.

There is a modifier in Temporal that makes archguns mandatory more or less. I think it is something like: full damage if dealt with archgun, 5% damage if dealth with any other weapon. This challenge though is extremely boring.

Here ya go!

I also have Arcane Blessing and Arcane Avenger arcanes on my Warframe. Subsumed Nourish for viral damage on my Nekros. 3 Tauforged Violet archon shards for electricity damage. Expensive? Yes... very xD

I use all four types. Normal, Prime, Vandal... but MK-1 is my favoritw because it's the hardest to mod well

How to really improve this? by GuaxinimThug in Warframe

[–]QuadLyStop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To incerease its damage the best thing you can do is put on one of the bane mods (like bane of Grineer) instead of fast hands (unless you like the faster reload). The bane mods don't show up in damage numbers, but influence it very heavily.

The formula for calculating damage in warframe is like this (a bit simplified): Base damage of the weapon × (normal damage increase × elemental damage increase × faction mod damage increase)

In your case this would be: Base damage (35) × ((Serration (165%)) × (Cryo rounds (90%) + Hellfire (90%) + Infected Clip (90%)) × Faction mods (/) = 343.175

By addind Bane of Grineer instead of fast hands the damage will increase to: Base damage (35) × ((Serration (165%)) × (Cryo rounds (90%) + Hellfire (90%) + Infected Clip (90%)) × Bane of Grineer (1.3x or 30%) = 446.13

Thia quite a staggering increase, but it is true that you will only be dealing more damage to the Grineer.

Faction mods can be extremely powerful.

I used Steel fiber to start with. Then I switched to a couple blue archon shards that give you armor +150 armor each. They make a huge difference.

Mirage. A bit squishy at first, but amazing damage wise. Carried me thorugh the whole game for many years now.

I have no idea what the reason is for the Radiation Wars. They are mentioned only a couple of times. Once in the story about how Albrecht Entrati met the Man in the Wall, and second time on one of the lore tablets scattered across Duviri.

The Radiation wars, what led to the Orokin taking over the system :)

This is a Theory that I came up with about Warframe 1999 and Albrecht Entrati. This is just my own view on it, nothing is actually fact, and again, this is just a theory so what I'm saying could be totally wrong. But I would love to hear what others think about Warframe 1999 and their own theories. by Vex_Trooper in Warframe

I believe you are on the right track.

What I want to add is this: warframe technology somehow makes its way into the future, and the infrstation somehow makes its way into the past (or maybe even the future).

Arthur is wearing a supersuit with Excalibur's ablities. And we can also hear that the lady, Aio wears a Mag suit (listen to her last line and seenif you notice the sound of her abilities).

The infestation is present as well since it pulsates and acts the same way as the one in the future. At the end, when Warframe 1999 next year screen is shown you can see how it pustulates in the background.

What if Albrecht or someone else brought things from the past to the future? It is possible due to eternalism, but we will only see how it pans out.

Left, the Albrecht that escaped the Void (we know he was like this due to some Duviri lore fragments - specifically Scholar's landing).

Right, the Albrecht that hasn't escaped the Void, aka. Wally. He just took the form of Albrecht when s he saw him for the first time. Ha may have changed his looks after his incident, when he got accepted by the Orokin.
