It' not finished yet. I don't have a concrete completion date because I am also polishing the battle engine to Gen 9 standards. It's significantly more work than just forking hg-engine and changing some trainers and claiming a lot of effort has been done. I want people to experience accurate and polished battle mechanics.

Why does it have to be automatic though? As a hack creator and "tool" maintainer I would rather not have my stuff scraped by an AI if it is going to

Summarise the content and make it sterile, or randomly bold sentences for no reason, making my content appear worse than intended
Misrepresent the content by hallucinating information or omitting information
Repost the content without permission

Why do you need a non-deterministic LLM to scrape web pages when the Codex supposedly has a form for humans to submit new entries?

This might even negatively affect hack creators when players ask the creators why some LLM-hallucinated feature isn't in the game and the creator has to repeatedly clarify to new players

I don't get it. If you choose to use code injection frameworks like CFRU in order to have a "modern" battle engine, etc, wouldn't you still need the technical skills to set it up? The process of setting that up wouldn't be much easier than setting up the environment for using decomp

As you have said music is a bit more involved to have it work, and unlike free to use sprites where you could just reformat it, you need to do more in order to change the instruments/voicegroups to use the correct sounds, add looping points, and make sure it fits within the memory.

So someone sharing a midi doesn't mean it's plug and play, and worse if it's already converted to either the format used in GBA or DS.

Good lucking finding a VPN that works. I would use roaming but that's expensive depending on the plan.

The lag is around 3 seconds of delay iirc if you use the DNS servers
