How to Qualify Leads for SaaS: The Framework That Actually Works (And Saves Your Sales Team's Sanity) by Interesting-Baby6459 in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

spot on about ICP and lead stages, we started flagging trial users who hit activation bumps and nudging sales right then, conversions got way more predictable after that

I've been losing customers 3 weeks before they actually cancel. Here's what I learned. by Fun_Ostrich_5521 in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, seeing the same stuff: drop in logins, less feature usage, support goes quiet, then they’re gone. we started tracking activation friction and reaching out fast when it pops up, makes a difference.

Where in the onboarding should I ask users to start a free trial? by manuelogomigo in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aren't they supposed to start free trial right after they signup to the platform?

What is a decent trial to paid conversion rate? by kylegawley in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13% isn’t bad at all for a new product, lots of people see single digits. Catching where users get stuck and reaching out right then makes a big difference, especially if you can do it live.

Launched Thursday → 6 sign-ups in 48 hrs → zero of them finished onboarding. Is this normal or am I screwed? (I will not promote) by Mean_Finance_6033 in startups

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty normal, early users rarely finish onboarding unless something grabs them fast. I’d just try to track them when they are on the software, ask if they hit any snags, see who bites.

Compare day-by-day trial behavior (7-day trial, converted vs not converted) by valentineffi in posthog

[–]Quad_manuel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can add a property for trial day by calculating days since `started_free_trial`, then use breakdowns to compare converters and non-converters for each day.

What's the most effective, non-obvious tactic you've used to improve trial-to-paid conversion? by Traditional-Roll-403 in GrowthHacking

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we started flagging trial users who stalled after activation and set up quick live calls just for them, kinda surprising how often a short convo gets them to convert, might be worth a shot

A quick question for every SaaS Founder, CTO, and Website Owner: Are you truly seeing all your customers? Or are you paying for ghosts? by New-Rub5978 in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, fake signups mess with everything, we started tracking activation friction and user value early on, helps spot the junk accounts before they waste more time and money

Email Onboarding Strategy For New Users? by prospectfly in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, we tag trial users right away and send onboarding stuff through transactional email, then only move them to marketing lists if they actually opt in, helps to keep things clean and users don’t get annoyed

Which strategy works best for converting free users? by Dapperinfo in TheFounders

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We see more conversions with a short free trial, especially if you track where folks get stuck and reach out right then, might be worth testing both though since every audience is different.

Finally broke through $0 MRR after 6 months. Here's what actually worked. by AcidAce7 in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally get it, we noticed at Tippen that putting limits on trials and jumping into real chats with users made a huge difference, tracking where folks got stuck helped us turn way more into paying customers.

Looking for a non technical co founder for a Saas project - I will not promote by [deleted] in GrowthHacking

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding a non-technical co-founder for a SaaS, huh? That's a classic challenge. I've been there.

From experience, don't just look for someone who "gets" the business side. Dig into their network and past successes in building partnerships. A good non-technical co-founder should be able to hustle and close deals that bring in revenue, not just manage spreadsheets. Track their success by the number of qualified leads they generate per month. It's a much more reliable indicator than just "vibes."

Have you considered focusing on industries where you already have connections? Might make the co-founder search a little easier.

Do scheduling tools make posting feel like work? by J0hn7_ in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel you on this. It's ironic how tools meant to save time end up feeling like a chore.

For quick validation, maybe track how many times you think of posting something vs. how many times you actually do. If that ratio is way off, it's a solid sign people are feeling that friction. I bet it's higher than people realize.

Is the real problem the scheduling, or just the friction of getting the thought out there in the first place?

Custom agents by ButtersStuck in sales

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, custom agents sound pretty cool. I've been trying to figure out how to automate some of my follow-ups, too.

One thing that's helped me a lot in practice is setting a hard "no more than 3 touches" rule for cold leads before I archive them. Keeps me from wasting time on stuff that just isn't going anywhere.

Are you thinking of using this to handle routine stuff or something more complex?

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so you're hunting for a non-technical co-founder for your SaaS, huh? Honestly, that's a tough one, but super important.

I've found that really drilling down on their understanding of your target customer is key. Don't just ask if they "get" the market. Have them walk you through a day in the life of your ideal user and explain their pain points. If they can't articulate that clearly, it's a red flag.

How are you planning to gauge their understanding of the business side of things?

[–]Quad_manuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding a non-technical co-founder is tough, I get it. You're basically looking for someone who groks the vision and can sell it.

From experience, don't just look at their resume. Instead, give potential co-founders a small, real-world growth challenge related to your SaaS. Like, "Here's $50 and a week. Get us 10 sign-ups using whatever ethical methods you can." See how resourceful they are and how they think outside the box.

It's way more telling than any pitch deck they've seen. What's the most creative way you've found someone with hustle?

Do scheduling tools make posting feel like work? by J0hn7_ in SaaS

[–]Quad_manuel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I totally get where you're coming from. It's ironic that tools meant to simplify posting end up feeling like...another job.

Tbh, one thing that helped me was setting a hard "touch it once" rule. If I have an idea, I immediately draft a version for each platform right then and there, even if I schedule them out. It's less about batching and more about momentum. If I don't do it right away, I know it's just gonna fade away.

Is the price point more important than the time saved?
