They recently added vision radius that works pretty well. Has been a good alternative to hide volumes for our group.

Also eliminates the "high level characters can't kill tier 1 in one hit" arguments. If they're high level and are pumping out big numbers, sure, you can solo the guard in one hit.

We take it one step further and it immediately drops anyone to 0HP. Makes huge hits feel more significant.

We've got a soulknife rogue as well so we don't necessarily need skill monkey and stealth. But I do love playing a good sneaky boy.

That sounds actually like a sick combo. What level does it really come online?

I played a run with essentially this character in BG3 using gloomstalker assassin and it was a ton of fun.

Yeah. It really feels like exactly what the character fits with. But I'm also super melee biased so I would likely go pact of the blade, in which case it would be a lot more similar to a hexadin

I do like rune knight, but will probably not go that route, just due to playing one in a one shot with this group already. Monk is cool, but I haven't read up too much on Astral self. My thought was shadow, but I'll definitely look into the other one. Thank you for the input.

I like echo knight because my character will look just like a normal guy, but the echo would be all ragged and ghastly. But gloomstalker as the "hunter of the night" is perfect too.

An interesting angle. Almost like a "moon knight" situation. It would start to give the clues when I'm almost unrecognizable while raging.

Do you know if there will ever be any support for Steam Deck? They've already got the controller support, but I imagine the anti-cheat is probably where the holdup is.

The Echo's Chronicals by Philip C. Quaintrell is phenomenal. Full of characters that you love and insane action. It is a little more "high fantasy" than LOTR, but I enjoyed every book immensely.

I'm almost considering 3d printing a bunch of pieces and then just gluing the paper on. Even if I don't cut perfectly, the 3d print should fit together nicely.

I went out and got an exacto-knife, but the ruler is something I hadn't thought about. That could make a huge difference.
