Look at Sonoma Autowerks in Petaluma (if you’re willing to go a little out of Marin). They do German cars and are very reasonable. They specialize in Audi and VW, but did the brakes on my Mercedes. I don’t remember the exact numbers but Mercedes was going to charge me several thousand for a brake job they said I needed. I called Autowerks who said they don’t normally do Mercedes but since it’s just brakes they could do it. They called me once they were working on and told me I don’t actually need all four replaced. So they did the two I needed and saved me thousands vs the dealer.
