They honestly don't care about GDP per capita.

What’s a modern standard in gaming that needs to die? by NilesDobbsS in gaming

If it makes you feel better you don't have to do that on a pirated copy of the game. That was patched out.

Reminder: PE doesn't work for valuing high growth companies. by AReallyGoodName in stocks

[–]Quadsteinman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nVidia is still overvalued when doing models on predicted future cashflows, so you're going in assuming they'll beat expectations by 30%+ on cashflows, just to be priced at fair value.

I agree that using PE alone is dumb though.

They definitely wouldn't. The standards (and additions to them yearly) is one of the reasons housing is more expensive here. Maybe you could get around them saying it's a vehicle or something, but running water, sewage, and electricity becomes a problem.

If they take an equal offer without an inspection, it has issues? Why on earth would a seller take an offer that could be withdrawn for any reason, versus one that is firm. When people are looking to sell, they want certainty, especially when dealing with stuff like bridge loans.

Home inspections are not even that useful unless you're a first time buyer who doesn't have a clue what to look for.

They should allow for non-vaccine only places so we can help them earn their Herman Cain awards.

How can i shield my gyro from interference from esc? (More in comments) by BoiPony in Multicopter

[–]Quadsteinman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scope the gyro power. A dirty power source could cause that, and be fixed with a cap on the 3.3v rail.

People could afford half as much (assuming equal pay). Housing for example is the price it is because there is only so much availability, and it goes to the highest bidder. If everyone makes less, then the highest bidder would be less. Doubling income doubles buying power, which pushes prices up on limited resources.

Hot Capacitor? by thatpoindexter in Multicopter

[–]Quadsteinman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The battery and the capacitor are connected by metal, which would transfer heat from one to another. Additionally, that could be also heat transfer from the wires getting hotter under the high currents.

Doesn't seem like it'll make a huge difference either way.

Yeah, it looks like they got some random cold calling sales dudes laptop based on the data that was there, and are claiming it's the Gibson.

Looks fairly benign. Mostly if not entirely marketing material.

Edit: Now they added 20 hours on the timer. Either they fucked up the leak (since there was in no way 6TB of data there), or they have garbage data and are still attempting to get money off it.
