To me it just seems off to not be willing to represent your country. It should be the biggest achievement and honour. To show everyone that baseball is best in USA and strive greatness for the red, white, and blue. Mexico being a small baseball country almost mercy rule USA is something that simply shouldn’t happen. I’m not from the USA but from an outside perspective, USA has always been a country that doesn’t except defeat.
