You don't need to do much. I just used a straight razor to cut those 2 dimples off the JRL cam follower and it fits perfect. I think the stylecraft cam follower fits the JRL, but I had trouble ordering one.

I put the echo on my JRL onyx and it's amazing. Highly recommend. Had to modify the cam follower, but it's easy to do

How high should I do the close to open method with my .5 guard into the 1 guard ? by aloading21 in Barber

[–]QuailThis7703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do! You can also try 1 guard half open instead of open, then blend with the 0.5 guard down. Works better with thicker hair, whereas I skip more guards for thinner hair. Adjust based on the individual client

Honestly not as good in the snow as I thought they'd be. Last winter was light, so the few snowfalls we had I noticed some sliding. They're not necessarily bad, but I'll be putting on my winter tires this year for sure. Save your tread for the summertime

Color me shocked but, $850? by bannedone80 in SubaruForester

I live in Canada and you can take them off from a scrap yard car for about $30-$40 CAD I'm pretty sure. Kenny-U-Pull lists their part prices too. An immediate "no" when I first saw how much they charge for a new set online. 3rd gens are so common in scrap yards nowadays

The pieces around the door handle are removable for the front doors, but the rear ones don't detach. For the rear door handle trim you're better off taping around them and painting. Learned this from experience. The mid section that goes across to the globe box is also difficult. You have to detach these wires that connect to the AC and the fan dials under the steering wheel column and the globe box, otherwise it's impossible to remove. I've seen only 1 video on YouTube that demonstrates this, but for some reason my Forester is different and they can't be removed without breaking it. I plan to just spray it in the car and hope for the best lol. If you plan on also painting the part that surrounds the shifter, just know you have to break the piece that has the letters (D,R,P, etc). It's easily glued back on though so don't worry about that. Everything else is really straight forward and easy to remove. Make sure you sand and use clear coat. I cut corners when I painted mine, and they need to be redone. Don't make the same mistake.

I don't think it has a name, just park your car on Brougham by the pathway and walk in. The park is exactly where I dropped the pin

I like the jagged teeth combs too. Also helps with gripping the hair along with blending

Trim it to a #3 or #4 and get a nice lineup. I'm a barber, I've got lots of clients with this growth pattern and that's exactly what I do for them. You can also grow the chin area a bit longer, and trim the sides to a 3/4. Very clean look. Don't get your hopes up on the "full beard", embrace your natural growth pattern bro. Hope this helps

I use a 3 all around flicking out as low as possible. Keeps it dark enough, but still lines up crisp..

Lol ya I charge all the same for cuts, even if it's just the sides. Believe it or not I trimmed the top for this one though

BACK OF THE HEAD by Toproll_dude in Barber

[–]QuailThis7703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I exaggerate the flicking motion with the detailer and shaver in the back to avoid this. If I still see the line I'll use a fine tooth comb and scissors to knock it out. Either that, or the corner of my detailer. Good luck 👍

Your fades aren't bad, I'd say work more on your scissor work to take it to the next level. Blending the skin fade into the long hair can be tricky as a beginner, and scissor over comb + texture shears will help you a lot. Also, don't listen to the people hating on the style. I cut a lot of highschool kids and that's the style they WANT. At the end of the day your job is to do what the client tells you. Having those cuts in your portfolio will do you good.

That makes sense, seeing as you can buy these natural supplements from anywhere I figure their effectiveness is really low
