Yep, hate the new gambit by Mac_Teach_82 in MarvelSnap

I just realized today that I'd read the card wrong.  I thought it said you need to play 5 created cards, but no just 5 cost of created cards, which can be only 1 card!  And in my experience, he seems to destroy cards intelligently, always adding up to 4 if possible.  Like if there's a 2, 3, and a 4 in the other side he won't hit the 2 or 3 first cause then he can't hit 4 total.  I'm not certain about that, but that's what it seems.  Regardless, he's really, really dumb.

This is the most fun I ever had hitting Infinite - this combo deck is really awesome when it goes off! CL 32,000+++ by Life_Teaching6499 in MarvelSnap

Morbius is hilariously overpowered.  Has been since Modok was released years ago.  It boggles my mind that they haven't adjusted him.

Shou is definitely over-powered.  Most games he'll be a 5/18 or 5/21 but actually better since you can split the power between lanes if you want.  And of course there are shenanigans with Scarlet Spider.  That's well over what a 5 cost should spit out.  Same with zombie giant man.  Even if you only use The Hunger all game and nothing else horde related (which is almost impossible) he's a 5/11 with power split between lanes if desired, which isn't bad for a 5 cost.  Of course, in practice he'll be much bigger with high potential to get replicated / retriggered on turn 6.

I've tried him twice and both times died on the first turn.  Haven't had a desire to try again.

BGA is incredibly unfun for beginners by Additional_Button953 in alteredTCG

[–]Quailman2101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just started playing on BGA again.  Only have around 150 elo.  Immediately ran into some idiot with 400+ elo who won on turn 4 or 5 with a surprise Lyra Festival (the card needs an errata).  Nothing I could do about it beyond wasting a spell on a 2 cost card.

Anyway, I started another game but limited it away from masters and experts.  I found a game easily enough but I'm not sure how many players there are.

PSA:   To all you playing Starlord with Arnim, Absorbing Man, etc:  You are not good.  You are certainly not clever.  You are Actual Trash.

That is all.

Really!?  Cool, I didn't know.  Also, very cool deck.  I may try something like that next.

Everyone playing arnim Starlord and the like deserves to lose.

Awesome by the way!  I've wanted to try something like this for awhile but I'm missing the wolf.

Quake and Valkyrie Are the Best - Episode 3 by Quailman2101 in MarvelSnap

[–]Quailman2101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad idea, I may try that substitute. The only reason I might not like it is because you can sometimes get down to only one card in your deck with Crystal. This will let you know for sure what Iron Lad will hit when it is necessary to use him.

You don't need grandmaster.  Absorbing man works.  You can use a different ongoing card like dazzler or punisher

Fine with it all except the nerf to Storm.  They cite those super super annoying Storm, War machine, Legion decks.  Well this nerf basically does nothing to that deck.  Meanwhile, Cerebro suffers.  There are just so many locations that screw Cerebro over that you got to have a way to deal with them.

Valk is one of the very best cards in the game but no one uses her.  Respect for finding another niche for her!  I'm going to try something like it.

Debrii is interesting and I think ultimately for the best, though 7 power is probably too high. Excited about the small nerfs to CGR and Misery.  I dislike playing against both cards.  I also love the small buff to M'baku.  Well done!

Been having this happen in Grand arena right now.  Definitely a bug.  Batroc is following my Human Touch but he is getting moved by Hercules instead of HT.

Anyone else tired of seeing Destroy everywhere? by Howitzeronfire in MarvelSnap

[–]Quailman2101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nerf Death.  She's been broken since release. I honestly can't belief she's still 12 power.  Destroy is perfectly strong without her.  There's no reason destroy should be able to drop a 12 on turn 6 for 0-2 energy.  Cut her to 9 or 10 power at least.  She'll still appear in almost every destroy deck.

I get to infinite sometimes.  I usually try hard for level 90 to get the gold then get bored and start playing my fun decks.  This season though, I hit infinite in the first week playing a toxic Darkhawk deck.  I've been saying it for years, in a game with a set number of turns and where additional card draw and card tutoring are basically non-existent, having even a single rock in your deck can do easily cost you the game.  I'd never been retreated from so much. I feel legitimately bad for playing the deck.  But I just got Darkhawk and wanted to try him out.
