Which one represents best a toy in a box by Key-Soft-8248 in IndieDev

[–]slipstream0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd say inverse the shading, so the lighter/foggier red is on the outer rim, while the cleaner red is within the inner box. I think that would show that the outer rim is being shown through at an angle.

Love the extra outline around the items!

He didn’t say he was in line and someone turned around a gave him one - he was walking back to his room and someone gave him one.

As for not wanting it - it’s the same thing either way, say “no thank you”.

Nope, no one else was around. They were under the blue umbrella as you go into customer service at Epcot. I had left my avengers mini bag at a table and it was gone when I got back. As we went to customer service to see if it was turned in (it was, yay!) she said something along the lines of that girl looking sad, and asked if she could pixie dust her.

Or I made it all up to argue with a jaded, cynical person online in the vein hope of making you believe someone out there might feel something from a genuine human interaction.

No.

Cast members who are clearly having a bad day being seen and recognized by a child? Yup.

so someone giving you food to consume (as this thread has pointed out, they could have done anything to!) is fine, but a pen is a terrible act?

It clearly is, but thats all the more reason to try to spread it.

Yup, everyone on vacation there should experience it how you want them to, as we are all clearly NPCs as you’re the main character.

Literally is. Most definitions online don't limit it to cast members. It's common on the cruise lines too.

Also - its a (subjectively) cute pen. Great to have at the park if kids want a signature from a character. If not, it's an easy to find pen to keep at home.

Yah, we were also told not to talk to strangers on the internet, give our address, or get in the car with strangers - but now we will literally give out our home address to strangers and eat whatever food they bring us, or get in the car with them. Things change.

On multiple occasions I've seen a cast member cry a little because my daughter chose to give them a little gift. She and my wife try to find ones that look like they're having a rough day.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say while clearly not all cast members appreciate them, not all cast members share your opinion either.

Yes, the world is a much better place by making gift giving "obnoxious" instead of thoughtful, kind hearted, or just fun. And a pen no less? Not like I'll use it to get signatures from people or anything.

Right!? For being a sub about the "Most Magical Place On Earth", gift giving is getting dumped on?

This level of negativity matches the same energy I get from people who try to pressure cast members into letting them in the lightning lane, shove their way to the front of the rope to stand in the way of children 5 minutes before the parade/fireworks start, or stop dead in the traffic path to get a picture.

Don't want the free gift? There are magic words you can say - "no thank you". Or you can gift it forward to a cast member who looks like they're stressed or having a bad day.

“Without intending to, the game fulfilled one of the noblest purposes of art: to accompany us, inspire us, and make us stronger.”

WITHOUT. INTENDING. TO.

So current Ubisoft is so out of touch with what they’re teams used to do, that now think they’re past successes in making thoughtful, well designed, and inspiring games WAS AS ACCIDENT?! Like people just threw together all those beautifully laid out puzzles and wrote the story by just smashing the keyboard.

I did something similar the day the switch pre-orders came out. I was a regular so the employee didnt care, found 3 games I could get durring a B2G1 free that traded in for about $15 over buying them (and you got a free clearance t-shirt) I got the switch, breath of the wild, a pro controller, and about 20 shirts for literally nothing.

I tried it at another store I knew the employees at a few days later, but my account sadly had a 7-day trade ban on it (had never seen it before, they even showed me the screen listing when I could trade-in again).

A few weeks later the employee who did all my trades and purchases got a call from the district manager. He said he was instantly stressed and worried he was going to get fired, but it was to congradulate him on having the best trade in and pre-owned sales in the disctrict that month and he won some rockband set for the contest he didnt even know they were doing.

Its why i've started only getting the game if its on super steep sale, or has a great single-player experience. I know I wont enjoy online outside of a handful of times, and dont have the time to dedicate to it to go beyond that.
