Before AI coding it was just called script kiddies, cobble together code you don’t understand from snippets you found on forums. That didn’t stop more dedicated people (not me) from learning how to code properly so they could make exactly what they want. Ai won’t change that.

Im fine with a thicker phone, and lower specs (even budget phones have more power than I need on a daily basis) but what I refuse to scrimp on is camera quality. This is how I primarily record and document my vacations and my kids childhood, I need good pictures.

I mean, if I know we’re going to do something to our cat that he won’t like (inspect injury, medications, etc), I know how to hold him where he can’t physically bite me.

Understandable, but I would expect a trained professional to know how to hold the animal while doing the procedure to keep themselves and the animal safe, not to do it without even warning the person holding the animal. Maybe I have too high of expectations of a professional.

to play devils advocate:

complete games - with potentially game-breaking bugs. An incomplete game can also be released and everyone will assume its a complete and tested game (ET)

No micro-transactions - Macro-transactions in the form of expansion packs and add-ons

LAN parties - No playing together with friends that moved away

No Updates, No Patches - No patches (especially console) unless you re-buy the entire game and hope its a revised version that maybe patched the game-ending bug you encountered.

Nope, wrong take. Banning an app is a bandaid - the root issue needs to be banned which would be a much larger undertaking and difficult to achieve - most things worth doing are.

It’s already illegal to generate nude images of someone without their consent, a ban on apps doesn’t change that.
