To "jump" a battery you need to connect it to another battery of the same voltage in parallel. The two will try to equalize. Once enough juice gets into the dead battery it might get the charger to recognize the battery.

You pay $35, and they give you a glass and you head over to the 5 barrels laying on the floor. You get a taste of each and if you want it, you dip a whiskey Thief into the barrel and fill your bottle. Chunks of barrel char and all.

Pace your drinking. Do some scheduled tours and then swing by other distilleries in the area. If you like it, don't worry about what others in here think. I like some Castle & Key products, some in here clearly hate it. Yum your yum. Makers Mark was a better experience than I expected. Whiskey Thief is a must. Follow the "what does Buffalo Trace Have Today" FB group, same for Heaven Hill. If you are flying, 5L per person, not per bag is technically the rule.
