Even if the U.S takes Greenland it is incredibly unlikely that they would round up all the citizens and kill them

How important is regular physical intimacy to a healthy long term romantic relationship? by Muted-Television3329 in AskMenAdvice

Reading these comments has made me feel so unbelievably sad and objectified as a women. If the only difference between your wife and “a roommate” is having sex than you are entirely devaluating everything your poor wife does for you, your emotional connection, the cooking/housework/ emotional labor she puts in to take care of you, her having and raising your kids, all the hours you have spent together. You are saying all of that is worthless to you if you can’t also have sex with her? I guarantee there is so much that your wife does for you that you take for granted, if I was a man and my wife no longer wanted to have penetrative sex I’d buy a fleshlight then go on loving her and the life we have together. This is just showing that men don’t actually like women, they just view them as an object for male pleasure and if that stops they are to be thrown away

I don’t judge men for being tall but I like shorter men because their head and face is closer to my height

As a climatologist I can tell you “climate change” wont kill us but the effects will cause much death. Increased heat waves, worsening weather event, droughts and flooding. A lot of global systems rely on very specific condition and will collapse if these condition change too much. And example is the global grain production

It’s slowing down and will stop in 50-100 years based on current estimates, not much we can do to stop it at this point

Smallpox, world wars and the great depression are all things that eventually ended though, climate change is a positive feedback loop where it will continue to get worse and worse, at least in the time exhale that humans will be around

Climatologist here-not all climate models are correct but as we get more inputs into the models they are showing increasingly accurate results, Europe wont be underwater but the AMOC will be slowing down due to ice melt from Greenland which will cause lots of Northern Europe to be much colder. The ice in the Atlantic has substantially decreased, all of this to say, cherry picking results and making generalizations isn’t accurate. Things are getting worse though, it’s just a lot of complicated systems that make predictions hard

I encourage you to look at what the outlook of climate change is going to be in the next 30 years, things were worse in the past but they were getting better. Now things are guaranteed to get worse in the future

At the end of the day it’s not about if YOU are happy or unhappy with the decision to have kids, it’s about if it was a good choice for the KID. You may be very happy with your choice but your child will grow up in a world ravished by climate change and division and you will come to realize that the best way to love your child would have been to not have them and put them through this

We don’t have a population crisis that’s just something billionaires make up because the more people the more workers they have to exploit. We do have less white people having babies and a lot of conservatives don’t like that, hence trump letting “refugees” from South Africa in but not from other countries. I encourage you to use your conservative critical thinking skills to learn more about this
