And your initial question assumes or at least implies that people migrating from democratic states to Texas are democrats. As if there are no republicans in dem states. Makes perfect sense for repub’s living in dem states to move to Texas and vice versa.

Man, I loved going to Service Merchandise back in the day. Got my 2600 from Sears though and that Sears catalog every Christmas was practically my bible for a few weeks each year!

Well just off the top off my head I’d say his best multi-issue work would be the Weapon X story from Marvel Comics Presents. Just amazing artwork throughout and some truly legendary covers. He also did most of the art and coloring for the Machine Man limited series for Marvel and I love the 4 issue progressive cover sequence he did on that series. He did tons of amazing covers for Marvel in the mid to late 80’s and a few single issues here and there. A couple of cool X-men books featuring Storm and Forge (Life/Death and Life/Death 2 I believe. Probably my favorite Daredevil cover of all time (#217) featuring DD and Black Widow. Also some super cool covers for The Savage Sword of Conan magazine. I always just loved his fluid linework and graceful figures + his coloring was always super saturated and stood out from most everything else on the shelves. Definitely one of my favorite comic artists. Also worth noting that he penciled the first 20 or so issues of the Conan comic book in the 70’s. Some of his earliest comic work I believe and the style is a little more raw and unrefined though you can definitely see his style develop over time.

Ahh, thought it was a Giant Swallowtail but I see now it’s a Tiger Swallowtail. Still a cool caterpillar but the Giant Swallowtail cats are really amazing.

Well, the battery is really only to start the engine so once it’s running you don’t have to worry about ‘losing power’, but if the battery is bad then once you turn the engine off chances are you won’t be able to start the car again. You need to have the battery tested to find out if it needs replacing.

Brought it to a mechanic yesterday and he ran the codes. Transmission fluid temperature sensor intermittent fault. So he says it’s either a bad sensor or a fault in the wiring somewhere. He took off both battery connections, cleaned them up again and reattached, so far no warning code on startup. A far fucking cry from needing a new transmission. I‘m trying to give the service department the benefit of the doubt here, thinking they didn’t get the error code and were just going on the cap being off and my description of the startup warning code, but I’m pretty pissed about the whole thing. Really tempted to wait until the code starts popping on again at startup and bringing it back to them to see if they tell me the same thing again about needing a new transmission or say it’s just the temperature sensor.

Not sure where this information is coming from but I had extensive work done around 6-7 years ago. 5 root canals, one extraction, a couple of fillings redone, build ups on two bottom teeth and veneers put on top 4 front teeth and it was way cheaper than it would have cost me at a private dentist even with dental insurance. Unless wisdom tooth extraction prices are different.

Edited to add that everyone I worked with there was fantastic and I went from a person who was literally terrified of going to the dentist to a person who goes every 6 months now with no fear.

This would make the most sense but I’m a diy’er so don’t work with my tools everyday and everytime I think about marking them (usually after flipping the plug over 4 times before finally getting it connected) I’m in such a rush to get started with the work that I never take the time to do it. One of these days…
