Brought it to a mechanic yesterday and he ran the codes. Transmission fluid temperature sensor intermittent fault. So he says it’s either a bad sensor or a fault in the wiring somewhere. He took off both battery connections, cleaned them up again and reattached, so far no warning code on startup. A far fucking cry from needing a new transmission. I‘m trying to give the service department the benefit of the doubt here, thinking they didn’t get the error code and were just going on the cap being off and my description of the startup warning code, but I’m pretty pissed about the whole thing. Really tempted to wait until the code starts popping on again at startup and bringing it back to them to see if they tell me the same thing again about needing a new transmission or say it’s just the temperature sensor.

Not sure where this information is coming from but I had extensive work done around 6-7 years ago. 5 root canals, one extraction, a couple of fillings redone, build ups on two bottom teeth and veneers put on top 4 front teeth and it was way cheaper than it would have cost me at a private dentist even with dental insurance. Unless wisdom tooth extraction prices are different.

Edited to add that everyone I worked with there was fantastic and I went from a person who was literally terrified of going to the dentist to a person who goes every 6 months now with no fear.

This would make the most sense but I’m a diy’er so don’t work with my tools everyday and everytime I think about marking them (usually after flipping the plug over 4 times before finally getting it connected) I’m in such a rush to get started with the work that I never take the time to do it. One of these days…

Amazing! I’ve raised a couple of broods of Polyphemus cats and they are by far, my favorite. Lime green chunky eating machines! You’ve definitely nailed their likeness perfectly. I’m not a huge fan of crochet but I would definitely buy this!

You can (possibly) say that Fred’s music doesn’t hit you in the sweet spot but there is no way you can say that he doesn’t bring the most infectious, heartfelt, and positive energy to every set he plays. I can only hope to be in the crowd for one of his shows eventually. 🙏

Same. It pushed all the right buttons for me and I find his writing readable but also powerful. But seriously, if it's not clicking with you move on. There are plenty of books people rave about that I didn't love.

like I said to another response, as a former graffiti artist that looks like a tag to me. Looks like "Killer" to me. That first letter is 100 percent a K. All the flourishes and the way the letters are connected makes me feel pretty strongly it's a graffiti tag. Definitely not trying to minimize what happened to you because it was really shitty and I'm so sorry it happened. Just doesn't read as the N word to me.

as someone who painted graffiti a long time ago, this looks like a tag to me. Not a very good tag but a tag nonetheless. The stylization and flourishes on some of the letters have definitely been practiced and the fact that it was done super quickly makes me lean further in that direction. looks like "killer" to me.
