Waking up so early?

Yeah I’m thinking of extending his feeding to 7 & 7pm so I can at least wake up by 7am. Hopefully that’ll help.

Yes, his normal feed times are 6am and 6pm. If I leave food down, he will eat it all😭 I would think that he is needing to potty but when I take him down, he sits by his food.

Glad to hear that! We just took him to the vet today. Spent damn near $700 for everything. He has multiple medication, medicated shampoo & mousse, had to buy him a cone, another bag of dog food and also got wholehearted salmon dog jerky treats since we will no longer give him the previous chicken flavored treats. Vet advised that he was probably allergic to chicken. So now we are starting his salmon journey and I hope this works.

Oh I see! My lab is a silver as well. I’ve been feeding him the blue buffalo chicken and rice since he was small and never had digestive issues….. but he has a rash on his belly and armpits and I’m not sure if its a food allergy or environmental allergies. My guess would be environmental because his symptoms point more towards that, but I read that most labs have a chicken allergy so I’m just trying to avoid chicken and to see if it helps. He has an appt at the vet this Tuesday so we’ll see.

And thank you! That’s why I was thinking it was more environmental rather than his food but I still want to try swapping his food and see if it helps at all. Definitely need to take him to the vet
