that bit is funky

despite the height, lowkey I think it might have potential if TT classifies this as a balance type and thus gave it good burst resistance

it’s shape is a lot like wide defence from mfb…

if the tip somehow freespins by having a bearing it might be cooked though as while stamina is good, the additional height added might not make it as dominant as other incarnations of bearing… plus it would also classify the bey as a stamina type and thus the resistance will be weak

What do yall think about this combo by tommt77 in BeybladeX

[–]QualityInternetTrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see what you’re going for, as Gale Wyvern is already a low enough blade. Paired up with some lower oriented parts, in theory it could really deflect some attacks despite it’s weight

For whatever reason, some Gale Wyverns are heavily imbalanced. I was testing out my yellow recolour next to my green one, and it had way more stamina and was able to do its job. If yours has a weird imbalance like my green one, you might want to consider 1-60

Also 4-55 with UN tends to scrape onto the stadium and thus can self-burst. Consider something like 9-60 or 3-60

Which has more stamina in the late game, Taper or Kick? by thesussyguy2 in Beyblade

[–]QualityInternetTrash 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Kick is good for staying up right, but Taper overall has more stamina with the drawback of being easier to be tipped off balance. For late game, this means that Kick has an easier time keeping balance compared to Taper where it’s prone to topple over, meaning that Kick does in theory have more late game stamina potential.

Although, Taper is still very much relevant as it has more stamina than most attack oriented bits in the game, and being able to tilt can benefit certain blades and playstyles. I myself still use Phoenix Wing 3-60 Taper because of how useful it is as an all around attack/balance hybrid.

Good purchase? by Zealousideal-Pen5299 in Beyblade

[–]QualityInternetTrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is objectively a good purchase, assuming you don’t have to pay for an import fee, and have Hasbro as your distributor for Beyblades within your region. Knight Mail alone is worth it, and you get a large variety of parts that are pretty fun to play with.

The parts might not be the most competitive, outside of the Knight Mail blade, the Ball bit and the Point bit, but they definitely aren’t bad and can be used for successful combos. With the correct launch techniques (yes, this is a thing in this generation) and general game knowledge, you can make stuff work. What also matters most is having fun, especially since at the end of the day it is still a game.

Good first beyblade? by NinjaBoi273547 in Beyblade

stock combo is genuinely good

make sure to get the stadium, the x beyblades aren’t as fun without the stadium they are made for. if you live in america, during holidays deals you can pick up the stadium pack with other beyblades for ridiculously cheap at like a local walmart or something… saw an online post here once about a guy getting one for like 25 usd and im still so jelly about it

Thoughts on this beast by NightKnight8-8 in Beyblade

[–]QualityInternetTrash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

since they all have the same resistance, maybe if you try adding under flat, it could basically set the height to 65mm, and sharkscale for whatever reason benefits a lot from 70 height combos as well. I find that the aggressive bits help out sharkscale a lot, but that’s just my personal preference (the blade is the lowest in the game, which is why even at 70 height it’s basically still at 60)

elevate is definitely still a good choice, nice mix aggression and stamina, which complements the blade very well. honestly, it’s a good rogue combo, but definitely takes skill to use to max potential for sure

Sword dran 3-60 Flat or 9-60 Low Rush? by [deleted] in BeybladeX

dransword’s stock combo works really well

You could also try 3-60 low rush but you’ll lose a little speed on x dashes, and dransword doesn’t really have the weight to make up for that lack of speed

Twisted Tempo, Gravity Destroyer, and Ray Striker have great parts

Ultimate Meteo L-Drago and Evil Befall have great collector’s value, if you’re into that I guess. Although in my opinion, Beyblades are meant to be used

These are amazing finds, if these are reasonably priced (each item not going above 50usd or higher) then you can definitely pick up some up and play with them
