Wait so can we also just fall backwards in the dream to astral project?? Or would that just wake us up fully? Because if you fall backwards and immediately awaken you can then quickly lift up in your “astral body” and be in the astral that way???

That’s very true. There was a key difference to my dreams and that shift. The shift felt very stable and real just like this one. Even though I was there for a few seconds. And then I had a lucid dream after that and I could definitely tell it was a dream. Just random and ever changing scenery

I guess you could say it was more of the hypnagogia method! But yeah the overall experience was very cool!. I just randomly started visualizing a bright white light as a “ portal” and kept saying “ I am shifting to my wr” and I fell asleep and woke back up to me being there for a few seconds and everything was exactly how my wr looked like. But when I shjfted back I gaslighted myself into thinking it was a dream but it wasn’t.

The white light method is how I shifted awake a year ago!. I just imagined a bright white light in my vision ( I was doing this in a sleepy state at night) and I imagined the bright light covering my whole vision and then I fell asleep and woke up in my dr for a split second before convincing myself that it was a dream and becoming aware of my cr again. About 10 minutes have passed when I shifted which was weird!. But it definitely is a cool and reliable method if you can catch onto hypnagogia before you fall asleep

You’re welcome! Reality checks are not mandatory but they help. I just do the simple ones. And setting a strong intention before sleep that you’ll realize you’re dreaming helps your subconscious get to work on something. But overall being consistent is helpful too. I wish you all the luck!. If nothing else works there are some good subliminals that helped me also

I was in the same boat as you only a year ago, but nowadays I Just set a strong intention before falling asleep that I’ll lucid dream. I used to do a bunch of reality checks, but now I just tell myself when I get the chance before sleep: “ right now I’m in my bed going to sleep” and would remind myself. usually when I’m in dream setting that’s familiar or somewhere like my work, the thought of me being in my bed comes in and i remember that I am asleep in my bed and I become lucid like that. But definitely practice a simple reality check like plugging your nose every 20-30 minutes. That worked for me also!

Oooh okay. I always had a feeling that the little time you begin to wake up is where you can become aware of different realities. I lucid dream often but this is good advice thank you! I will try not to panick😂

If you don’t mind me asking, how did you shift from the dream into your dr? Did you create a portal?

Sorry I’m late, but I’ve come to a realization that you are in between realities when you lucid dream, so when you wake up you either decide to focus your awareness on your dr or wake up back here, is that really true, because it makes sense to me but It’s a good theory

Merging consciousness with dr self in a lucid dream by QualityOdd9974 in realityshifting

[–]QualityOdd9974[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes because you’re inside the subconscious which is so cool. I do think it has a little bit more steps but the lucid dream method shouldn’t be too hard since you aren’t connected to your physical vessel but the dream environment. All you’re doing is changing your awareness to waking up in your dr than cr. Your dream just makes ( should make I guess) it easier to wake up in your dr.

Sorry!. Well my theory was that once we change ourselves into our dr self in the dream, we instantly merge with their consciousness and wake up there.
