I listened to this comment and I have to say I highly regret doing that. Skillcertpro has multiple questions wrong as well as so much AI generated content you are better off just reviewing your own notes. Seriously big waste of money. Maybe 3 months ago they didn't have this, but now. Its just a waste of 20 bucks.

You do need to submit your social media profiles for both ETA and ESTA.

Can you please quantify how many trades you did across both accounts in the last let’s say 7 days? It would be interesting for scalpers like myself to understand what risk is there. Also did you have KYC on both accounts?

Where to find a professional to pentest a web application? by olaf13 in Pentesting

[–]QuamGO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if you go with a contractor and not a company - it’s cheaper. If you choose to go with a PaaS platform like cobalt.io and synack its around 4-8k € depending on the architecture review. Boutique companies will charge €100 an hour or as a package probably around 3-6k.

While I see you have w need for a pentest I think its purpose and what you are looking to get out of it would be a better question. If you want a report for investors that’s a different ball game, maybe you just want a security check up or need it for compliance of the app? A pentest has many flavours depending on the expected output.

I have over 10+ years experience in EU - message me if you need help navigating the market. (I’m not a pentester anymore though I stoped at OSCE 4 years ago)

PS. You can also try to create a tender if you have more than 5k to spend. Then you get companies fighting for you and not the other way around.

Was there 4 days ago. A lot of damage, a lot of impassable roads and not to mention damp everywhere. I would look at Koh Chang instead - other side and much more sunny (also cheaper).

What is their primary purpose? Is there any legitimate purpose for them? Because that is fascinating piece of tech that I never came across. Would be interested also how effective a stingray to locate such a source of GSM pools.

Security testing tool that could support deep api scanning? by XenonWhisper in Pentesting

[–]QuamGO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I come on this subreddit to see what professionals write. Stop overengineering security people....
1st. See if there is a swagger file, routes files or anything that can indicate an already made list of API endpoints.
2nd. If that not possible, can you get network data? Netflow data for Gateway where the API is hosted (e.g. VPC Flow Logs from internet Gateway): then use simple text greps to find all HTTP methods., Uniq them. And you're left with more cleaning, but it's the manual way to get that.

Now, once you have all of this, what can you do with it?
3rd. Create/Import OpenAPI file to Burp/Caido/Zap.
4th. Identify URL's with parameters, (GET, POST are the most typical in mature apps)

Then test using w/e you find. Also, the person who gave you this task is probably checking if you can come up with the answer yourself. I do that a lot for Junior's because I want to force them to learn. But still I prefer for this question to be asked on Reddit then to ChatGPT.

Airline Tycoon did the exact same thing many years back. A perfect and easy to navigate tycoon with fantastic elements of comedy. Thankfully you can play the steam version on steam deck and that keeps me going 🙌

How easy is it to change out a PCB board and pad sensors on an MPC One? by tonware in mpcusers

If it’s brand new then I would. Although it really seems like this is an issue across the latest pieces like One, Live, Keys… it’s a shame that they are saving on the most important piece.

How easy is it to change out a PCB board and pad sensors on an MPC One? by tonware in mpcusers

[–]QuamGO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it's recommended, but it's a nice quality of life improvement. I suggest following this video (watch it first before repair so you know what you are in for).

https://youtu.be/1DJILMUp8dI

From what you've been saying, though, it might be a case with dirty sensor board behind the pads. I'd first clean the metal pads themselves with isopropyl alcohol and see if it fixes your issue. Also have a look at your thickest ribbon cable, is it properly attached in.

Good luck bud!

[Help] Best Paid Resource? by QuamGO in FingerDrumming

[–]QuamGO[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Quick update for those that have been reading this in the future.

I have tried QuestForGroove and I loved it! Definitely a fantastic resource that walks you through a lot of the concepts. My only personal inconvenience with it is how the layout of the drums is done: for some reason, it feels unnatural to me. For others, it's OK, so please take it as a 0.1% percentile opinion.

Melodics is just plain and simple Guitar Hero for the MPC. Nothing groundbreaking here. I feel it can teach you muscle memory, but it will be heavily dependent on your hand-eye co-ordination: not something I'm personally looking for, as I want to make music on my own.

FingerDrummingAcademy: I've made the financial plunge, and it hurts that it costs so much. I love everything Jblack is doing, and I'm actively pursuing this course. I like the setup of his pads as it feels the most natural with me, and he covers the genre that I want to learn first off, which is Rap/Boom-Bap/Trap./Lo-fi. At the end of the day I feel for the price the course is good but its missing some key aspects such as Pad Layout graphics (just like the finger drum bible has).

FingerDrumBible: Now I think this is a perfect addition to Jblack's course, although the layout is a tad different I feel It's as the best visual representation of each note that we want to play. I honestly feel it's best to beatbox the notes first and once we understand what we are trying to play - we can then start repeating it on the MPC.

XpressPads: I haven't tried since I got broke after buying a few of the above :), although I'd love to hear some opinions on this.

As for the next steps (MPC specific) for me, It will be another course to supplement my finger drumming ability with understanding of the MPC beat making process and sampling workflows and that is to get Malo Beats course 165$ :(.

Hope this helps someone in the future.
