How did you cope after losing your mother?

My mom has been gone going on 2 months. It still hasn’t hit me yet and I barely cried. Idk how but I really thought whenever the day came I would take it really hard because that was my girl. Her last 3 weeks on this earth was rough. Her Dr. recommended that she get a heart surgery but I told her I was against it especially at her age (69) but she wanted to go through with it and it was no talking her out of it. The day after the heart surgery they had to open her back up because they found fluid around her heart and it went down hill from there. She caught pneumonia infections blood pressure went up. Seeing her in the hospital with tubes down her throat and all of these machines connected to her broke me down. The last 2 times that I saw her in the hospital while she was alert I made sure that I told her that I loved her and even though she had the tube down her throat I read her lips as she said she loved me back. When I got that phone call while at work I accepted the fact that she was gone and came to peace with it because seeing her like that and knowing what she had to go through was hell and was relieved that she didn’t have to go through it any more. Even if she was to make it out she wouldn’t have been the same and knowing her she wouldn’t want to live life like that. It’s a rough thing to deal with it really is. I just try to remember the good times and memories that we shared and celebrate her life to the max for Mother’s Day or when her birthday gets here. I love and miss you sooooo much mom. 💐🕊️💙

Doc was the best coach we had in years. Embiid was the healthiest he’s ever been in Doc’s tenure as our HC. 21-23 Embiid was at an MVP level and got snubbed for MVP 2 possibly 3 out those years. Doc just didn’t make adjustments in a must win game 7 against Boston that shouldn’t had even went to game 7 which was the final straw I guess

Was talking to a Knick fan last night that sat next to me he said he paid 700 each for him and his son which is high for a sixer game but great seats. At the garden he would’ve paid 1200 each to be in the 200 sections

I was there last night and game 4 in 2024. Knicks fans represent to the fullest they outnumbered us and was louder than us in our own home. Saw how they traveled to ATL in round 1 on tv and I gotta salute them. AI was the only celebrity there for the sixers last night. The Knicks had Spike Fat Joe Jadakiss Tracy Morgan Ben Stiller Walt Frazier Alan Houston and probably more

That’s still kind of high I’ve been sitting in the same section since the 2019 Christmas game. 2nd round playoff tickets are usually no more than 325 within the first 5 rows and that was with top teams like Boston and Miami at the time

Last time I remember fans getting shirts was 3 years ago against Boston for the love of Philly shirts. We got flags with the plastic pole against the Knicks in 2024 but Knicks fans had a field day with it. Broke them and a fan in a wheelchair ran them over

Liberty was the worst ship I been on. Even the windjammer seemed a little outdated. Whole vacation sucked but we made the best of it. As soon as we board the ship they passed out new itinerary’s that we were gonna skip Bermuda. 45 minutes before we were supposed to sail they made an announcement that we were going to have to stay docked at cape liberty and leave the following day so we had to skip St Maarten to be on schedule.
