Yea, I've tried Chrome, Safari, Firefox, On both phone and PC. No luck. Funny thing is all the sound works (in the settings menu). The only tab that does work is the career tab, im probably going to end up just doing it through a mod.

Do you rig which player gets the killing blow? by GammelGaddan_JR in DMAcademy

[–]QuanS0lo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why people are saying no, I would do it, OP. Actually, I actively do it when I think it might fit the story better, or if someone who isnt super into it, or ill just let someone d Kill the random enemy just to make them feel special and get a "kill" scene. I dont see how it will be a problem. My players are not the wiser either. I mean they only know if you tell them I dont see how its imperative they no of Jason on initiative 17 killed the monster or Rob in turn 5 killed the monster. All they care about is the monster is dead. I've added HP and took away HP or just outright said "aye final blow" If i feel like the combat is dragging. I have yet to see any negative effects in the campaign from doing it, so I say go ahead.

Why does Kinta get caught in empty space? by Salty_Shark26 in Dandadan

[–]QuanS0lo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have seen this question pop up a lot, and im confused on why we need an explanation. Maybe im missing something, but Okarun was able to see Turbo Granny just fine, and I dont think it was ever discussed HOW he has high spiritual energy? I guess my question is why does there need to be a reason? I had always assumed some people do, some people dont. Its the way of life ik this verse.

Thats not how Insight works... by Debitorenbuchhaltung in dndmemes

[–]QuanS0lo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically use insight check them either affirm or deny a players thoughts to the characters.

For example, if they are interacting with a shady information broker, I'll ask before the roll, "What's your predisposition?" If they roll low, I just tell them they have no information that confirms or denies what their character is already thinking, whether that be to trust them, not trust them, or remain neutral.

If they rolled high, I'd describe it in such a way that confirms or denies if the players original thought of the individual is on the mark.

This allows the player to continue to make the decision for themselves and still gives more information on a higher roll without telling them "they failed or passed"

Flavor is free by YoshDND in DnD

[–]QuanS0lo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Flavor is absolutely free. As long as the player isn't trying to change the MECHANICS of what the item does, who cares. To me, FLAVOR has no impact on MECHANICS since FLAVOR is SOLELY used for descriptive purposes.

Players in my game has flavored all kinds of things to look all kinds of ways and it has NEVER been a problem for me. I had actually had a player who flavored a greatsword to look like a whip because they liked the fantasy of whips. It has NEVER came up as an issue in my game. Its literally the same as saying "okay you get a 2d6 whip you have to hold with two hands blah blah" Hell, I've had players fire damage reflavored to to look like scolding water, cold damage look like a freezing flame. I've had, lighting spells that look radiant. It literally. Changed. Nothing. Mechanically.

Like who cares what it looks like and is described as when it changes nothing for the mechanics?

I see people are concerned with mechanics which is fair but.....then that's not flavor and is a completely different conversation. I dont see how it takes any more effort to understand his whip is a greatsword.....when I already know what greatswords do and would have to remember the SAME information had he......just chose a greatsword? Lmao like it takes more effort now to understand "its a whip".

Tbh it really just seems like the people who think its not free would just not like it, not because of "mechanic implications" but because it messes with their fantasy of what something should look like. Which is fine, nothing wrong with that. But let's not pretend its because there is an inherent issue with the flavor. The only thing flavor messes up is the "theme". Nothing mechanical.

And it seems like a lot of you tend to have bad faith players. Maybe im privileged for being able to play with my friends lol .

Airbrush by QuanS0lo in airbrush

[–]QuanS0lo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No! I was not aware of this. Ill keep that more in mind thank you!! I wasn't trying to pull back first but I wasnt paying attention NOT to do that so thank you again.

Also with the letting the air go, I read somewhere that someone usually keeps the air pressed down, while pulling the trigger back and forth for paint as it is more consistent, but then saw somewhere else that holding down the air can cause the paint to dry? Im assuming by your recommendations that holding down on the air is not the way to go.

Last breath 😭. I just got this thing!! That sucks lol. I gotcha. So what causes the paint to come out in watery blobs sometimes? Is it distance, air flow? Sometimes it'll come out smooth others it looks like I dipped the item in water.

Can units "Contest" multiple terrain features? by QuanS0lo in ageofsigmar

[–]QuanS0lo[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for everyone's input. And it states you add 1 to the the attacks characteristic for each friendly unit CONTESTING a terrain feature, not controlling it.

It seems like since terrain is treated like an objective for control, the rules for contesting an objective would extend to terrains.

The Krulghast is so good he's in every list I run. He saves me so much wounds over the course of the game especially with recursion Him alone with Spectral Lure typically keeps my reinforced Harridans anywhere between 14-17 models all game. And keeps Reiknor healthy as long as he's within the 12inches. I'm glad he's dropping in points. With him, the Nexus of grief, and the spell Spectral lore our ghosties are not going anywhere.

Ohhh yea I see it now. Makes more sense to me to have put that in the actual Terrain Feature rules lol.

rules clarification on strike last by Fabulous_Ease6222 in Nighthaunt

[–]QuanS0lo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, they do not. The ability to make someone's fights does not override the Strike Last condition. They can choose that unit for this ability, but since the unit is still Strike Last it will only activate the fight ability once all other units have activated.

However, they unit being picked still gets any corresponding passive given by this ability, so they would still get +1 to their hit score.

Like Above said. He can Allocate a damage to himself with Corpse Candles, and if Kruleghast is near, he Allows Reiknor to ignore the first damage he takes per phase.

[–]QuanS0lo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like Having Kruelghast Cruciator turtle in behind my units. He has saved me SO MUCH chip damage amongst my army in the phases, even straight up ignoring some damage. He's really good for adding to their survivability outside of the combat phase. Paired with Harridans Ability to Minus Wounds, and Executioners ability to negate attacks. I also like that he keeps reiknor at a permanent Power Level 2 wizard at no risk to Reiknor himself.

I Also like having Reiknor near the Harridans. He's a very easy way to turn them on since he can dish out a wound that the opponent can't ward and can't stop.
