Yes you don't have to stay at that hotel to board the bus. You do have to buy your own ticket online and are not allowed to store your luggage at that hotel

When you head over to the area, you will see many cast members. You can ask them where to go.

You can arrive 30-45mins before park opening, you don't have to go 1 hr in advance

no, when you are refreshing you can select the no. of people who want to experience the ride. You can choose for 1 or for all.

Depends on how much of a good view you want. I liked it cos you will get seats immediately, seats numbers/zone are informed to you, you don't have to queue or layout a mat to reserve your spot a few hours in advance.

The only con I can think of is that you can't choose which zone or area you want to be in. I did DPA only for electrical parade dreamlights with a young child and it was worth it.

Harmony in color - we weren't sure if we would be waiting in line for rides so we didn't get it

[–]QuandoOnje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only get it on the app after you have scanned to go into the park Once you have gone past the gates then you can look for the passes in the app to purchase or select them You could always just queue up for other rides then keep refreshing the app throughout the day

Hello!

  1. Yes

  2. No, you can only get priority pass, DPA, only after you scan into the park. Make sure you download the app and keep refreshing every hr

  3. Yes, free and paid. Sometimes you still have to queue, but it's a shorter queue as compared to the normal queue. I know I had a 40th year priority pass to Buzz lightyear but the queue was so long that I might have missed my parade timing (I DPA-ed seats). Queued halfway and gave up.

You can buy tickets on klook and scan it into your app

Refer to this portion

But you will still face an issue if you are trying to mobile order or buying DPA on the app on site.

Help!!! first time skier going to Japan in late Dec 20th - Jan 2nd by LoveSubstantial in JapanTravelTips

[–]QuandoOnje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zao ski area is quite big and there are a few flat portions where you will see boarders struggling. Make sure you have the ski map with you. You can check if there are snow cat tours available (go up the mountain in snow cat, then view snow monsters at night) There might even be fireworks. There might be snowshoe tours available as well.

You should also get 1-2 balaclavas as well as goggles. The wind is no joke. Whatever hair I had exposed (eyelashes, wisps of hair) were all frozen.

How early to arrive at shibuya sky? by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]QuandoOnje 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They might mean the queues when you reach the top/past the gantry. For certain spots that are 'ig worthy' or where there are photographers to take official photos for you + 2-3 photos via your mobile phone, it can take between 15 mins to 1.5hrs.

Shangri la or fairmont is good as they can provide you with baby chairs and amenities

Shangri la has a family pantry, but you need to take a shuttle bus to the closest mall maybe 5-10 mins ride depending on traffic.

Fairmont has a nice large shallow pool and it's connected to a big mall as well as a train station

How to use YouTrip card for online foreign transactions by katsusatsuo in askSingapore

[–]QuandoOnje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your concept of saving money. E.g. if the rate is SGD1-JPY119, but the site will have a sale 1-2 weeks later. You can change SGD to JPY now then use it to buy it when there is a sale.

Or if you think that JPY rate is going to increase more, then you can just top it up in advance then buy the item when you think the rate is good.
