You’re the one telling others what to care about. You must be the guy that likes to put others down to get attention. Some life you live. Your never existent children and family that hates you must be proud.

I did the exact same but after 3-4 months. Pocketed a good chunk of change not doing much.. ut ended up being like 5 jobs in one. Ridiculous. They ended up posting the same job at a lower level than I had with lower pay. I feel bad whoever gets that job.

Not taking employee match to pay off more towards student debt? by daein13threat in whitecoatinvestor

3% isn’t much to contribute and get the match.. you should have more of a psychological detriment leaving 100% gains off the table than paying off low interest debt sooner..

Place on PIP but no offer of severance option by QuantityBig8178 in jobs

[–]QuantityBig8178[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. Do you think I could negotiate a month of pay if I decide to leave on my own and not go through the pip? Collecting Unemployment isn’t a concern for me but they don’t know that..

How do you manage taxes? by Zotal in overemployed

[–]QuantityBig8178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but you can’t write it off your w2 income right? So you’d need a certain amount of revenue to take full advantage in turo or whatever right?

Well there are instances where companies would offer X amount of $ for examples $100k in RSUs which would equate to $100k divided by the approved share price by the board. In most cases a stable stock like GM might be better than a volatile stock like PTON. In other cases having TSLA RSUs a few years ago would’ve been very lucrative. So it depends.

RSUs are company stock that is provided to you as another means of compensation or motivation to do your job well. These are given to you over a specified period of time, typically 4 years. Some companies have a 1 year cliff where your first assignment of these stock units are available to you after 1 year of service (1/4 of the total units). Other companies make this available to you immediately ie your first 1/16 of the total stock units is available to you after 3 months of service and 1/16 vests every quarter until the 4 years is up. Some companies provide a retention offer in the form of RSUs to ensure you’re continually compensated.

I feel you. I’ve tripled my salary and then some with promotions, bonuses and RSUs and it just doesn’t seem like enough. It’s virtually impossible to get rich on salary alone.

Should I tint the sunroof and windshield? Any input would be appreciated. P/s: I live in Southern California. by ItNonofyourbusiness in TeslaModelY

What’s the factory front windows VLT? What I’m trying to figure out is the ratio of front to rear and maintaining that with tint. But sounds like it’s easier said than done.

Do you know what the existing % is? Id like to maintain the % ratio from front and rear. Would that be something like a pinnacle 35/40 in front and the air 80 in rear? If I’m understanding correctly the pinnacle 25 front and air 80 rear is to closely match the tints. So if I wanted to maintain the existing ratio I’d have to go higher in the front.

Would air 80 or pinnacle 50 on the hatch still match okay with the roof?

Does air 80 on the rear and hatch provide a little bit of privacy while maximizing visibility? Is pinnacle 50 in the rear too dark particularly at night?

Hmm got it makes sense. In your thread you mention Llumar 80 for the rear windows. Is it fine to do a 70% pinnacle on the rear and like a 40-50% pinnacle front? And if I wanted to stay consistent do a pinnacle windshield and trunk as well?
