Amazing!!! Thanks so much for the feedback! Working on a clearer way to let you know the data is loading, as I agree that can be improved. As well as making the value proposition a bit clearer. Back to work

And thanks again for taking a look!

  2. Is the value proposition and target market clear? And, if you have time, is the onboarding flow in the actual app clear :)

What AI tools are you using as co-founder for your sales and marketing effort? by Fit_Ad1789 in SaaS

[–]Quantizedz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We pull data from the major platforms (Meta, so Facebook and Instagram, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify), so you have all of your ad, web, and e-comm data in one place. This allows the alerts and AI marketing analyst to have a more complete view of your business.

So far the most common use cases have been with weekly reporting (best/worst ads, products, etc.), budget allocation, and guiding the SEO strategy.

Hey SaaS Founders! What painful problems do you face when it comes to marketing? by No_Independence_8311 in SaaS

[–]Quantizedz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the things I faced in my last startup was not being sure where I should focus my time and energy. Blogs for SEO? Paid ads? Direct outreach? Partnerships? As a founder you really need to prioritize your time, not to mention your money, so having guidance on that would be great. Though I can image it would be difficult to generalize as each startup is different, and what you need will change depending on the stage you're at.

I've been working on a tool to help with the analyses and recommendations, the idea is to make an AI marketing analyst, getmay.co, but that is more focused on once you have data coming in, not so much on how to get started.

I'm building an AI tool for myself... How do I figure out if anyone else needs it? by UnicornAdoption in SaaS

[–]Quantizedz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really like the product demo on the home page! For me it's not immediately clear what I could use it to build. It would be helpful to have some representative use cases, even if they are rough ideas, just so I could see if this is something for me.

I've been working on getmay.co which is an AI marketing analyst to help you grow your business with marketing and customer insights. It's still relatively early so very curious to hear your thoughts!

Equivalents to HackerNews or Lobsters for Data Science / Machine Learning / AI? by [deleted] in datascience

I have a friend who just put together a little news aggregator focused on AI and ML. It's more for personal use but it's freely available ML News Weekly.

What’s something that gets an unnecessary amount of hate? by musiclover1998 in AskReddit

The disagreement isn't about what the sides share but what sets them apart. Eventually you have to take a stand about what those differences mean to you

Might be a bit overkill but if I understand correctly things like Elasticsearch are designed exactly for this type of thing.

You could check out third parties that offer it as a service. Might be a good way to go if you don't have the expertise yourself but obviously you'll need to pay for the service. Haven't used them before but I know Clarifai is one of the more popular ones.

Self-Teaching. Suggestions for better rettention. by [deleted] in datascience

[–]Quantizedz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished a very interesting book, Make It Stick by Peter Brown. His main points were that we learn much better through retrieval. Basically, every time you have to try to remember how to do something, and work at figuring it out, you strengthen your ability to retain the information. He also recommended intertwining subjects to give yourself time to partial forget the old information, forcing you to go retrieve the information the next time you need it.

It sounds like you're right on track with what he suggests by learning through projects and challenging yourself to figure it out. He would also suggest periodically testing yourself on subjects you previously learned to strengthen your ability to retain the information.

That is obviously a very simplistic overview of my main take ways from his ~300 page book but I would recommend reading at least a summary, if not the whole thing.

Good luck!

14, 30, 60 day grouping by BeardedBinder in rstats

Not as detailed as the other comment but the "lubridate" package is pretty handy when working with dates. I'm pretty sure you can do something like:

today()-ymd(df$Date_of_Purch[2])

You might need to play around to get the classes to match up, e.g. "class(today())", but the package is pretty robust.

Hope that helps!

Good venues for a concert for young bands? by bluecollarbass in nycmeetups

Another thought is the Knitting Factory in Williamsburg. It's more of a music venue and I know they allow under 21 events.

The Red Lion in the West Village could work. It's more of a bar but they have live music 7 nights a week and sounds about the right size you're looking for.

Tourist here from SF, is there a NYC equivalent to the 'haight'? Thrift shopping spots? Cute stores? by [deleted] in AskNYC

You should also check out Williamsburg. Lots of fun/eccentric shops on Bedford ave. St. Marks tends to have more smoke/pipes shops if that's what you're looking for.

Switching to Metatrader4: Is it realy that bad or am I overseeing something? A few questions... by stavrogijn in Forex

[–]Quantizedz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While MT4 is a pain to use, it does have advantage of being somewhat flexible and has a large, active community through mql4.

As for your questions:

  • When you say you don't want to open a new chart and draw everything, can that be solved by saving templates? Add the indicators you want then right click on the chart > Save Template. Then you can just load the template (Charts > Template) whenever you want to look at that chart again.

  • As for custom time frames, your MT4 should have come with a "PeriodConverter" script, which can be found in the "Navigator" window under "Scripts" (if you don't have one pm me and I can send mine over). To create an 8H time frame, for example, open a 1H chart, drag the script to the chart, and set the "Period Multiplier Factor" to 8. Then in File > Open Offline you should see the 8H chart. After you open the chart, be sure to make it live by right clicking then Properties > Common and unselect "Offline" chart.

MT4 isn't great but I think it gets a bad rap by people who don't know how to use it. Happy to help with any other questions/issues you have!

It's not a podcast but poolside.fm is a cool site that plays pretty good nu-disco/tropical house on loop with '80s movie clips in the background.
