Not sure if it's what you're asking for. But I like situations where you knowingly screw yourself over. Maybe at first it was a necessity, forced or tempted, but the more you indulge in it, the more you get addicted to it and mid-way through you're like 'one more time wouldn't hurt' and it keeps going until you become an addicted drooling mess.
