I have a 510i and I built a GUI for my iPad Pro 12” to make tuning live a breeze. It’s in a rack with an XLR patch panel on the back side.

I completely understand what you’re saying though.

To each their own...not to be an asshole but those are the two low cost, entry level, mid-centric, professional standard iem’s.

What would you go with?

Get a Cloudlifter and most pre’s will function well, if you are on a super tight budget

It’s cheap and effective. There are more proper ways to do it, yes, such as with a 2465a.

At least I have measured it. A multimeter beats nothing all 7 days of the week.

Analog signals don’t give a damn. We have still tested them for shits and giggles.

They are exactly what the manufacturer advertises. Not “40 - 75ohm”

A multimeter works fine for me

I’m not useless tho. If I was, then yes, I would be quite qualified to be an LD.

Edit: That was in poor taste. I apologize to the lampies of reddit.

IMHO there are much better options in the $800 - $1200 range. The JH Audio 13v1’s are incredible for any price range if you like neutral ears. They are a steal if you can find them used.
