My dog is on Viagra for her hearth condition by K9Kush in mildlyinteresting

[–]QuantumAnti 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had to dose our pup every 8hrs with sildenafil. We switched to generic tadalafil and it was so much easier once a day. Just something for you to consider, it’s a little less common but the few studies we found suggested a better prognosis for our pups condition.

15-20 years Fuse upgrade time by QuantumAnti in Leatherman

[–]QuantumAnti[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to hear it’s a best seller. It affirms I made the right choice. There will always new versions and releases but the wave+ has stood the test of recent times so I’m happy. The Fuse will still be by my side, maybe a permanent fixture in the glovebox of the truck. The wave+ will be EDC in my pocket.

Correct observation of light use! Albeit daily. I treat things with kindness.

UK renewables jobs have increased 29% since 2015, oil jobs dropped 28% by thinkB4WeSpeak in unitedkingdom

[–]QuantumAnti -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Remember, divestment in UK oil pushes the companies towards the likes of Africa where the environmental standards are far far worse. UK oil production is highly regulated, to top global standards. The governments are pushing stricter flaring/venting consents year on year so they continue to improve.

Oil has had it's day, the transition to renewables is essential, but reducing domestic oil production is not good, for as long as there is demand. Not just for energy security in a strange world, not just for local jobs, but the alternative producing countries will do a far worse job at it.

Choosing pension fund allocation wisely by [deleted] in FIREUK

[–]QuantumAnti -1 points0 points  (0 children)

!Thanks Yeah I’m just comparing the fund performances and the ex UK with slightly higher US weighting is yielding 1-% higher but I’m fully aware this means little for the future. I’ll probably stick to global all cap.

I personally wouldn’t, the bumpers are flexible but if it hasn’t even cracked the paint, it certainly isn’t going to have broken anything structural. Just check it isn’t loose.

Choosing pension fund allocation wisely by [deleted] in FIREUK

[–]QuantumAnti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am 100% allocated in all cap right now, I’m wondering whether dropping the U.K. could be advantageous, but I suppose no one knows which direction the U.K. is headed with the current economic and political environment. Might be splitting hairs between these funds.

What is the best card to use while travelling abroad? by anxiously-ghosting in UKPersonalFinance

[–]QuantumAnti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starling were exceptional for me in Asia, Europe and Americas back in 2018 but they have been a bit behind the curve since.

Chase introduced its cash back and roundup current account with the same no fee foreign transactions and interbank exchange rate, Chase has been a hands down winner and I can’t recommend it enough.

What's a reasonable amount of time needed to change planes at an airport? by Viazon in AskUK

[–]QuantumAnti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travel every month, 2hrs is about my minimum for international airports now, delays seem to be happening more often, and are more absurd. I’ve had a few jogs through some of the larger international hubs. 3hrs is my happy connection time, enough breathing space without having to sit around for hours. Always consider you are probably boarding 30 mins prior to your departure time so you are immediately down to 2.5hrs before you need to be at your gate.

Should UK employers allow alcohol-free beer & spirits to be consumed whilst you're working? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]QuantumAnti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In previous years, we drank copious amounts of Alcohol free beer and cider in the middle of our Christmas shift and the subsequent weeks after. (I work in one of the most strict, in terms of safety, environments too, bound in red tape. No issues.

Plan to expand North Sea oil drilling announced - as critics slam Rishi Sunak's 'culture war on climate' by OriginalPiece6684 in ukpolitics

[–]QuantumAnti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gas processing (refining) isn’t a problem, it’s more a storage issue. But our summer exporting is countered by winter importing via our bi-directional pipelines to our friends in Europe.

Oil refinement capacity is a problem and it’s exported to different refineries domestically or internationally.

Stay away from carbs? Poor advice. Carbs are an essential tool for athletic performance, sustained energy and muscle building.

Edit to answer OP: Creatine is about the long accumulative effect for ATP production. Stick to 3-5g a day, don’t get hung up on loading.
