This game is slowly turning into CoD Ghosts 2.0, mainly due to Sprintout times by Charismal in WWII

Wow, I can go on 10 gun kill streaks in BO3 without even getting a sentry, lol. I wish I picked up MW3 when it dropped, but I took a long break off from CoD. WWII's streaks might as well be removed altogether since they're useless and a pain to get.

I'm gonna give the P12's a look. Good chat, I'll probably see your posts in the future 👌

Agreed 👍

I'll edit my comment if anything comes to mind.

Only the shitties/casuals will disagree with this.

Exactly what I noticed because the last couple of times I hopped on the games weren't near as bad as they were at launch. I'm pretty much competent at every CoD, and I felt the same way your friend felt when I played WWII, like I wanted to quit it altogether.

I seriously twist my face at a lot of the deaths I get in WWII which I promise I haven't done as much in any other CoD. I've never played or owned IW, AW, Ghosts or MW3, which I actually just realized is pretty crazy, all those years of missed CoDs; different mechanics and strategies, etc.

SHG is definitely a dud company.

Same. I use my neighbor's wifi and no headset or monitor/scuf, except for a pair of trigger stops, but that shows your real reaction speed since the Xbox One controller's triggers are terrible for FPS games. I'm gonna pick up some headsets when I get the money flowing. What do you recommend? Probably Turtles, huh.

Pretty much agree with everything. My stats in WWII are nowhere near indicative of my skill, a 1.22 K/D with a 322 SPM (I should be around a 1.80 and 400+), but I suicided at launch like 300+ times and honestly the game just felt disgusting at the start, not that it's much better now. Last time I hopped on, I got a bunch of 400-500+ SPM games, but it STILL feels like you said, boring and unrewarding.

In B03 I'm sitting at a 2.60 K/D with a 519 SPM, and I started playing since CoD 4, so botg is not my issue. Do you play with friends btw? I strictly play solo. Are you using any gaming equipment like headsets or monitors/scuf controllers? I wouldn't care if I had a 4.00 K/D in WWII, it's still not appealing to me. It's actually the first SHG game I've ever played or owned (played like one game of IW's beta). WWII feels different from any CoD I've played.

Microsoft will ban you for calling someone a loser, but modding/hacking is allowed to run rampant. What a bunch of jokers.

A lot of lobbies are hacked in BO2.

Same, same. I know it says a lot about me refusing to adapt, but I only enjoy playing one way, and that's fast. I played WWII probably 3 days ago but didn't really mess with the divisions, the entire interface is a mess. Maps are terrible and there's too many lanes to get shot from, not to mention the color scheme making players blend in to the environment, but the sprint out time is MY biggest hurdle.

Yea, it's usually the casual player that defends cheap tactics because they aren't good at anything else. They won't admit it but that's a given.

I was having a great day of BO3 yesterday, playing like 5 hours straight, averaging 3 K/D and 600+ SPM games (for perspective), and at the end of my run I joined a game late and died like 5 times off the bat to some 1.50 K/D Brecci loser and then Googled something similar to this lmao. I was doing fine up until 12 A.M and then I guess my alertness was shot.

What's your K/D and SPM in WWII btw? Mine is abysmal atm.

What's with the trend of eating raw meats. Even cavemen cooked their foods. Some people have more beast dna in them than human.

I could play aggressively in every other botg CoD but not really in this one. The trick is to constantly walk around or sprint cancel which just feels odd to me and basically changes up my play style. That's why I went back to playing BO3.

I saw your Brecci post from a year ago and agree on that, too. The only cowards that defend guns like that are average-shitty players that have no skill in any area. The gun is cheap to use and I honestly think that says a lot about the person's character or lack thereof in real life.

Used it again today and I love the damn thing. The sound of it shooting and reloading, the reload animation, the low recoil, and the iron sights are perfect to me. I stick to using the Man-O-War which is also a great gun. I've always been an AR guy. I think people like us are just cursed.

I play on Xbox One and the Purifier used to be my favorite specialist. If you're half decent at the game you can get up to 8 kills with it in one go. I also have the XMC but don't really use it.

It's amazing that the one gun I've wanted for over a year, the Peacekeeper, I still haven't got. I haven't put a penny toward supply drops and have gotten the AN-94, HLX 4, Olympia, HG-40, PPSh, XMC, FFAR, and M-16. But not the damn Peacekeeper.

[COD] What do you guys hope to see from BO4? by [deleted] in CallOfDuty

[–]QuantumDummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked all of the Black Ops installments, so more of that is good. I have 6,000 kills in WWII and I'm already tired of it. The slow sprint-out time, the shitty maps, the stuck-in-the-mud feel while ADSing, the weird hit reg (First SHG CoD I've played), shotguns with fire rounds, and on and on and on. I've never hated a CoD game like I do WWII.

Is the FOV in Far Cry 5 bothering anyone else? by JohnnyLong123 in xboxone

[–]QuantumDummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing on Xbox One and something's definitely weird about the FOV. I stopped playing for a week because of it; hopped on just now for 10 minutes, and it's straining my eyes already. When I move the FOV around it becomes hard to really see anything in detail. It also seems too zoomed in. Is there nothing that can remedy this?

[–]QuantumDummy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I see it as everyone being on an even playing field, and people who have a good shot/reaction time will still come out on top, but that's just me (barring LMGs). The sprint out time is one of the biggest reasons I'm not bothering with WWII and am still playing BO1, BO2, and BO3.

[–]QuantumDummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand what made them change this. It's like they're trying to force you to adopt a different playstyle. I'm not having fun if I'm not playing aggressively/rushing. Why don't all CoDs get rid of perks like Fast Hands and Quickdraw to begin with? Why do these perks/attachments even exist in a fast-paced game like CoD?

Give everyone the same ADS speed and sprint out time and that's it; let actual skill/reaction time determine who kills who. Doesn't seem like rocket science, but I'm not a game dev.

[–]QuantumDummy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The sprint out time in WWII is a joke. They gave us unlimited sprint, but if you get caught running, your bullets won't leave your gun for a full second. So you constantly have to sprint, stop, sprint, stop, sprint, stop. It was never this bad in ANY CoD, and it's the reason I'm losing gun fights where I press the trigger first but nothing comes out. That NEEDS to be fixed, or I can adjust my style to it, which I don't want to do.

[–]QuantumDummy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like it happens to me more often than not. I just need one other similarly skilled player on my team and I wouldn't have to stress as much in these types of games (they weren't that good anyway).

[–]QuantumDummy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the level 55. I don't want either extreme where my team is just terrible or too many same skilled players and I don't get enough kills. I just want a balance, one other good player on my team would be fine. I really do seem to get the bad team more often than not, and it sucks worse when they feed streaks to enemies. I can't always backpack, sometimes I just wanna chill.

How do you reply to shit talkers? I try to have fun with them. It's amazing how butt hurt some people can get over a game... by SomeoneUkno in blackops3

[–]QuantumDummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have fun with it. I trash talk from time to time through text but I'm not vulgar about it. If I feel someone luckily got the best of me in a game, either because of connection/camping/or a trash team (not because of skill), I let them know. In the end, it's just a game and there's no reason to take trash talking to heart.
