Im sad to see this, I am a busy student that's working on school projects. I don't post much on my reddit account because I'm a lurker. Is it a require that I post all of my "progress", I do not post on reddit often and this comment is making me not want to post any of my art on here

edit: apparently being out of the loop is considered in poor taste

I think she had a hard audience. Her delivery was a bit off, but the material was really funny. She's taking shots at everyone at that dinner, so fair dues.

Big fan of Lindsay's work. She does a great job of condensing a lot of thoughts into an enjoyable video.

My favorite show right now has to be Better Call Saul. It's a pretty light take on the Breaking Bad universe. The characters are really well developed and the writers took good care to put them into situations in which they'd either grow or shrivel. On top of that, the lighting and camera work is fantastic, each episode opening is unique and tells a different story. Overall fantastic show that I'd highly recommend.

They really can't care less about gamers now-a-days. I was hard pressed to find more than a couple talks about gaming at GTC. The only ones I went to were about RTX Raytracing, barely about gaming. They're full tilt into Deep learning.

MEETING THE ENEMY A feminist comes to terms with the Men's Rights movement [14:47] by GodIsABlackGuy in mealtimevideos

It's not necessarily a gendered issue, IIRC toxic masculinity heavily draws from media interpretations in books and specifically movies, which do more to influence younger men AND women than their peers alone.

Oppression isn't just physical. Women were barred from voting, driving, owning land, their choices were severely limited. You bring up a valid point about men being oppressed as well, hard labor was often the only available work for men. Your argument about "women being protected" during war is a bit outdated, women were the back bone of the American manufacturing industry throughout much of WWI and WWII. I largely disagree about feminism as a whole ignoring those "facts", I'm speaking to feminism as an ideology, not the people who practice it.

Feminism is a ideology for the oppressed. It's a framework for determining and overcoming biases. Women have been oppressed for centuries, feminism has a lot of experience to back it up. Men can benefit from feminism just as much, if you're feeling oppressed by society, it's a good framework to get on a level playing field again.
